Commuting in and out of the city these next couple of weeks is going to be like giving Satan a rimjob after he had a drunken night eating Indian food.

Prayers sent.

I'm going after work for my gf's family.

I'm one of the lucky ones in Atlanta that lives 2 miles from work so my commute wont be affected :)

Passing through that city pisses me off on a good day. What a nightmare.

Well my office is at the next exit up from this shite show and people are already trying to make excuses. The good news is that all of the underground fiber optic lines that run up and down that section of 85 appear to all be intact. The amount of data that runs up and down that interstate dwarfs the commuters. If those went down, you'd actually hear about it on CNN. Major fiber optic superhighway there.

Because Atlanta, i bet they frick these lines up during repair.

Was the fire so hot that the rebar melted or did the bridge collapse on its own?

The rebar melted. Traffic fricked for the next 2-3 months.
