Good thing bobby p. likes putting up basketball numbers on the scoreboard. They're going to need every point

I'm still a little giddy knowing that he's not our DC anymore

Put 7 draft picks out there and it's hard to make them look awful against awful teams. Good teams ran it right down our throat and killed us.

With the talent that defense had, we should have been much better. Outside of a five-game stretch in November, our defense was mediocre at best. We got physically manhandled by SCar and Bama; heck, even Kentucky gashed us.

Not the case. We were average in 2012 with talent in spades

PPG dropped for the third year in a row in 2012.

We held 5 teams to their lowest season point totals (even teams that played Bama and LSU).

There were obviously issues (especially after Abry Jones went down). But everyone likes to cry like little bitches even though the defense had its moments.

I'm not saying the assumption is wrong from the chowder puff girls and I'm glad he's gone but, damn don't get sucked in by another espSTUPID article.

We bought some Bama/FSU coaching for our group yes<

Let's produce some results first before gloating like baboons....

I think we have an upgrade over Grantham.

But people are still going to be pulling their hair out over Pruitt when we give up 3rd and longs. Or allow big plays.

Pruitt is aggressive. And there's a downside to that, too.

Nah, on most of the others it would be super suspicious though

... and then we gave up 350 yards rushing in the most important game the program had played since the early 80s. That is never excusable.

That was Bama's second lowest scoring total all year. And the defense got the 3 and out in crunch time to give the offense an opportunity for the win.

But you'd rather bitch about yards.

Never thought I'd see anyone defend that.

Yes, I'll bitch about yards. We allowed Bama to grind out long drives that kept our offense off the field.

If we hold them to 250 yards, we're never in a position to have to drive the length of the field in a little over a minute. Yes, we got the three and out at the end, but we'd have never been in that position in the first place if we hadn't gotten hammered for the previous 2.5 quarters

Rushing yards...hell yea.Show me a CFB defense that's successful giving up 230+ yrds per game rushing

CTG's defense showed up for 1 game in '12...Vandy.
His PPG is deceptive (still pretty shitty for 7 NFL players)
because of the AU and Vandy shutouts and I'm pretty sure he
kept the 1st team defense through most of the 4th qtr against
AU...showing what a total POS he is.

Can believe were even talking about this guy.Thank God he's
gone.
