Know how you know when it's time for a coach to go?

When you look around and don't see a difference between what you'd be dealing with under a first year coach and under your 15 year dean of the conference. Give him til tech and push for him to retire gracefully (especially if he can't win out; fire him ASAP if he can't beat ga southern).
Who would've thought that tech or UGA would be looking at missing a bowl game this year while southern had already locked their trip in.

When Kentucky is outscoring your team two weeks running?

I've been anti fire Richt until now
Now I just don't care. They probably won't but if they do I won't mind

I'm with you. I've been a supporter until now. He's a good man but the wheels fell off the bus and he doesn't appear to know how to change a tire.

I know it's time for him to go when I no longer feel like I can keep defending him.
I hope he can get another coaching job or missions work or something that makes him happy. I appreciate his service and bringing UGA football back into the national spotlight but it's time to hand over the keys.

This is not a reaction to the loss. 15 years is enough. Frankly, I'm tired of hearing how he is a good man. Wonderful, he is great. There are a lot of coaches that have been successful. The first thing you hear about them is not that they are a good person; its what they have accomplished as a coach. Don't think you can say much to the latter about Coach Richt. Time for a change.

This team has taken on the persona of its head coach. Richt seems indifferent about losing, never showed any excitement, frustration or even a change of expression. I think he came in expecting to lose, to struggle in Jacksonville like usual and the players took that role as well. Unacceptable.

I know right, who cares if he is a good man? That really makes me mad b/c by saying that Richt is a good man, you are basically assuming that all the other coaches aren't good people since no other coach gets mentioned as being a good guy like Richt. However, it is pretty obvious that Richt isn't that good of a coach so it is better to just say he is a good guy, than a ok coach.

UGA is officially at a cross roads. Do they take a leap of faith and fire Richt, risking the 2016 recruiting class? Does it matter that Eason is coming in next year? He is bound to have growing pains, which requires patience from a fan base that is tired and defeated. It’s time, but the AD doesn’t have the balls to make such a move. Right will be roaming the sidelines next year.

Similar for me.
I've been in the if it happens oh well crowd for about two seasons, but not really wanting him fired.
I am ready for a change now. Let's say we fire Richt and the team takes a step back for a year or two. I say who gives a frick we aren't winning SEC titles anyway. So while I understand the who is better thought process, I'm no longer thinking that way.

It does. No coach can win big without a decent Qb.

I've been pretty clear that I want to see a new HC in Athens. Just saying I appreciate what Richt has done and think he is a good man. I just think he has hit his ceiling for whatever reason.

Richt is a good man like the fat chick has a great personality. Too bad the fat chick never gets to be prom queen.
