Georgia is going to suck as long as we are stuck with another legacy imbecile.

Smart is dumber than Ray Goff.

We are also stuck with a dumb legacy special teams coach. Just because his name is Beamer, doesn't mean he knows how to coach.

The offensive play calling was terrible.

How long did it take that fatso idiot to realize we couldn't run, but we could pass?

Then, when the defense was spread out on the last drive, a draw would have gained big yardage. Instead, the stupid jerk waits until it is 4th down and calls a time out to come up with a ridiculously predictable call.

Mel Tucker's defense is physically weak. 3 guys who outweighed a running back by 50 pounds a piece had trouble bringing down Vandy's runner.

This game also shows those recruiting class rankings mean nothing.

Georgia's recruiting classes always rank highly. Vanderbilt's didn't rank in the top 50.

I hate Kirby Smart. Fire him and Fire the senile Athletic director who hired him.

Losing to Vandy at home on homecoming is disgraceful.

That's 2 straight winnable home games were lost because of stupid coaching.

I hope you guys who wanted Richt gone and tried to justify it are happy now.

I wanted Richt gone because it was time. If we don't win an SEC title in 3 years of Smarat it will be time again. Right now I don't think we win that title....but I also don't think we would with Richt either

Firing Richt was the correct move. Hiring Smart may not have been.

Possibly a little too much emphasis on him being a UGA alum and having worked for Saban.

Neither of those things mean squat as far as guaranteeing that one will be a good coach.

It was time to fire a 10 win a year coach?

Ok.

Now we are stuck with a 6 win a year coach.

Hope you are satisfied.

He hasn't even finished the first year. How do you know he is a 6 win a year coach?

Do you realize it's still possible to win 10 games this year?

Do you even think before you post?

Richt needing to go and Smart possibly being a bad hire are two separate decisions. I'm still glad Richt is gone. It's not like he never blew games like this.

Wait, you think this loss proves richt did better than he did over the past ten years?

Yes...it was time. Richt had grown complacent at UGA...there was no chance he went any further. Smart may prove to be a horrible hire...right now it certainly looks that way....but you can't get better by remaining complacent....it takes risk. Firing Richt was a risk but it was the right move....

I'll bet you $100 Georgia does not win 10 games this year.

Do you even pay attention to the games?

This is the stupidest coaching staff in the SEC aside from maybe Messchump's.

It's not the right move, if you go from averaging 10 wins a year to 6 wins a year.

Maybe you enjoy losing to Vanderbilt.

I don't think they will win 10 games either. But it's just as unlikely we only win 6. The point was that you can't say he's a 6 win a year coach before he even finishes one season, and also that you are an idiot.

I'm still happy. If Kirby fails he will be out in 3 years like Muschamp at Florida. Richt was never going to win another SEC Championship.

The decision #1 to fire 9-4 richt was the right one.

The decision #2 to hire smart is looking like the wrong one.

Just to chime in as an LSU fan, I assume most wanted Richt gone. Reminds me of us firing Les. It was time for him to go IMO. So will depend on the hire but I'm happy we pulled the trigger.

Seems UGA may not have hired the right guy. We will see. But that was a bad loss today.

Richt lost to Vandy on homecoming in the season following his 2nd SEC Championship.

Georgia didn't dominate that game the way they dominated Vandy today.

No way should Georgia lose a game that they outgain the other team by > 2-1 and have no turnovers.

They lost because of bad coaching.

You need more than one datapoint to get an average...its math. You should try it sometime.

Not saying we'll totally implode but we were trending this way. Not sure CMR would have done much better this year. This is still pretty much CMR's players. Our OC moves are most troubling to me...

It was time both UGA and CMR were bored and stale with each other.

Look at the excitement KS has caused, even though we are losing.

Look how energized CMR is.

It was the best move.

I think KS will he brine and be good, but it takes time. I worry that the press to hold onto Eason forced the Chaney hire, instead of going with someone else.

Any objective observer could see that it was time for Richt to move on. Mark is a great guy and good coach and coached us to many 10 win seasons. /salute But ironically he lost to NC yesterday, the same team we beat in our first game of the season. And yes, Richt also lost to Vandy during his tenure. And I seriously doubt that Richt at the helm this season would have magically improved our OL blocking and blocking in general.
