My first vote in a Presidential election was for W, because I came from West Cobb which is still solidly red and it was all I ever really knew. The 2nd election I voted for Ron Paul in the primaries and then wrote-in Ron Paul in the general. Last election I voted for Johnson, and I will vote for Johnson again this go-round.

I grew disenchanted with the GOP at a very early age, mainly due to their pandering to the evangelical right and their abandonment of responsible fiscal policy.

And books. I'm fairly certain they made a lot from book sales.

Hmmm....for some reason, I was thinking they made very little from book sales. I'll see if I can find it.

ETA

The former secretary of state earned an additional $5 million from sales of her June 2014 memoir, Hard Choices.

LINK

Better than I would think for book sales. I'm not sure how many books they have written, total.

Four pages in and not a single mention of any specific policy or proposal or anything of substance anyone disagrees with Trump about has been mentioned.

Only the usual blather about him being a meanie and reality show blah blah

I bet most of you don't even know what the issues are this election, much less would be able to speak coherently about any of them.

Yet, there you sit....posing as authorities on what is "presidential " and what isn't. And all based on frivolous meaningless moron observations.

So depressing.

It's time to blow it all up (not literally) and you have a choice between one candidate who wants to keep things going just as they are so she can get richer and more powerful ... and one who threatens all that.

Why is it time to blow it all up? What in the world is so bad that we should throw everything away and start all over? We are better off as a country than we were 8 years ago...and we weren't horrible then. We will be better 8 years from now than we are now...there is nothing in the United States that would dictate "blowing it all up"...in fact we stand to lose an awful lot in doing so....more than mankind has ever had in his existence. There has never been a better time to be alive and be a US citizen...never...not a single solitary second....and yet so many of us are more than willing to "blow it all up" for no reason. I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "Huge Meteor 2016...Just End It Already". I ain't ready to end it....if you want to blow it all up blow your own shite up...do something to change YOUR situation....but leave my shite alone...because my shite and the vast majority of people's shite in this country are doing better than we ever have and unless y'all blow it all up it is only going to get better....

One of the things released by Wikileaks while the rest of you people were eating cheetoes and watching the two minutes mainstream media Trump hate.....was leaked DNC Hillary campaign emails about the need to maintain a "compliant and unaware" population. Subservient slaves basically. Too stupid to understand what is being planned for them and too gutless to resist it..

I bet she'd love the people of the GSB, no doubt.

It's much more fun to screech about elites, cry that the police, the immigrants, the rich fat cats, or the spooky establishment are holding you back.

None of us are to blame for our lives, it's those other people's fault and don't you dare tell me to take responsibility for my life!

Hard to give a substantiative response to his policies when he's never actually gone in to detail about them.

I'm completely confident I know them inside and out much more than you do.

Not sure why you are concerned. You assured us that the population was ready for change, and Trump had this well in hand.

You haven't changed your mind, have you?

and you still haven't blamed trump for his failures during this campaign. You are a blind follower who wants to blame anything and everyone other than the man himself.

So my post about Supreme Court nominations was moronic?

Actually, the Supreme Court nominees could be the ONLY reason to vote for Trump. I can't believe he hasn't grabbed onto that and run with it.

Want to know the reason someone should vote for Hillery? I can't think of one.

There could not possibly be two worse candidates.

Agreed

quote:

And it is your opinion that Trump cares about our interests? Really?

I don't think he is a globalist who will put the interests of other countries before our own. I also don't think he has been bought and paid for many times over like Hillary (via her Foundation). Where will her loyalties lie? With us deplorables? Or the oligarchs that gave her millions? That's a simple answer.

quote:

So do I. I hate Hillery worse, but to be honest, I am more likely to not vote, than to vote for either of them.

Even if you hate Trump you should think about voting for him just to protect the 2nd amendment and 4th amendment. You can guarantee Hillary will appoint activist judges that think nothing of your rights. If the 2nd and 4th amendment go, the 1st aint too far behind.

Also, one other thought that every fence sitter should think about ... look at how the media and every member of Congress treats Trump. Do you think they will give him an inch if he gets elected? There would be very little chance that he will be able to do anything illegal in office. He will just be way too scrutinized.

And then look at the other option. Hillary already was let walk on a crime that would have you and I in prison. There was a story yesterday citing multiple high ranking FBI and DOJ sources saying that almost all involved in the investigation were outraged and disgusted that charges weren't brought. Do you think someone who already has been giving a free pass by the press many times over isn't going to get that same free pass once in office. If you value your freedoms and the constitution, Hillary is a far bigger threat than Trump could ever be just because the media is 100% in her corner and has lost any objectivity or legitimacy.

Just think about that for a few minutes.

I'm voting for change and a new direction.

Immigration needs to be curtailed by 90% and then only for those who offer value.

Trump will do this.

Hillary is for open borders and world government.

Trump will defend the 2nd amendment and appoint conservative SCOTUS judges Hillay will not.

Hillary is in bed financially with the Saudi/Quati regimes and are desperate to start another war this time with Iran & Yemen.

Wall Street has propped up the Clinton foundation and the clinton money machine for decades.

Favors will be called in under a clinton regime and none of us will benifit from this.

I would rather live in a country where small pox and EBola dont rot my kids faces off, but hey that's just me....

Go ahead vote "stoopid" for the donkey queen if that's your bag.

My guess is this will be a complete beat down in favor of Hill in terms of total votes.

How the states and numbers shake out might be a bit closer, but she has already won this thing.

I was raised in West Cobb too... and still voted for Bill in my first election.

Where in West Cobb? I went to Due West Elementary, Pine Mountain Middle, Harrison High. Grew up on Hadaway.
