2nd, per what I read this morning.
Yeah, early 2nd. 35th overall or something like that. My memory failed me a little there. Still, Bowers is going to have to compete for targets with 2 good WRs (one hall of famer) and another TE in a system that will be run heavy and doesnt ha...

No QB and they drafted a TE in the first round last year. I'm hoping he has an awesome career, and talent usually wins out, but I was hoping he'd land at some other preferred destinations like Indianapolis. ...
Not sure why Bennet vs TCU doesnt get more love. Maybe because he destroyed them so completely the game was over by halftime. But still, he played basically a perfect game, in title game, throwing for 4 TDs and running for 2 more. ...

That was Venezuelans already in country when Trump left office. This guy crossed the border in 2022, when Biden was in office, and was released into the country under Biden's policies. Nice try though. ...

NIL isnt about Name, image and likeness. A very, very small percentage are signing endorsements or licensing agreements. The vast majority are getting money from funds set up by the school, without any regulation, that pay the kid just to sign with that school. They are now simply player signing bon...
I think that is typically because new coaches come in with the rosters needed to be rebuilt after a disappointing season / tenure. That wont be the case in this situation. ...

re: Saban retiring

That's why I can't see a good coach at a good program wanting to make that move. If I was Lanning I would use it as leverage for a raise at Oregon but I wouldn't want to take that job. There isnt any upside. Your either just as good as the last guy or your a failure. ...

Why would Lanning or any other coach in a good situation at a good program want to go to Alabama. A two loss season and every Bama fan will be screaming for your head. If I was Lanning I would say thanks, but no thanks, and try to win at Oregon. He ca recruit and Oregon, with the Nike connection...
Then later in the game stopped play to review a Georgia catch that wasn't even in question. Why did the officials deam that play worthy of review but not a crucial 4th and 15 or whatever? ...
Why didn't the defender in the corner of the end zone PI the bejsus out of the Alabama receiver?
There was a subtle but very effective push off, OPI, by the receiver on that play. That is how he was able to get separation. ...
I'm fine with him splitting carries with Edwards. Keeps them both fresh and wears down the D. ...
Pretty pathetic on their part. ...
All I know is when that crowd was rocking on Sat I dont think I saw one false start penalty against Georgia. Compare that to all the False starts other teams have when them come to Athens. ...

This has certainly been a truly crazy and amazing ride. I'll remember every moment of it. That said, there is this little voice that keeps chirping in my head .. "How awesome would a 3 peat be. Something that has not happened in decades!"...

re: Carson Beck

About Beck, he stays on his first read too long. If his timing isnt right, that leads to problems. See the int. See also the incompletion to Bowers in the end zone over the middle in the first half. Can't remember who it was but another WR was wide open to Bowers left who would have walked into the...
