Why is it time to blow it all up? What in the world is so bad that we should throw everything away and start all over? We are better off as a country than we were 8 years ago...and we weren't horrible then. We will be better 8 years from now than we are now...there is nothing in the United States that would dictate "blowing it all up"...in fact we stand to lose an awful lot in doing so....more than mankind has ever had in his existence. There has never been a better time to be alive and be a US citizen...never...not a single solitary second....and yet so many of us are more than willing to "blow it all up" for no reason. I saw a bumper sticker the other day that said "Huge Meteor 2016...Just End It Already". I ain't ready to end it....if you want to blow it all up blow your own shite up...do something to change YOUR situation....but leave my shite alone...because my shite and the vast majority of people's shite in this country are doing better than we ever have and unless y'all blow it all up it is only going to get better....

Tell that to the millions of people still out of work with the lowest labor participation rate since the great depression. Tell that to the people that have their health insurance canceled or the costs of that insurance double or triple with higher deductibles. Tell that to people that have seen their wages stagnate while the cost of living increases. It's very convenient that things like Milk are not included in the Cost of Living calculations. Why has Obama been the only president to never have a quarter of GDP growth greater than 3%. Why are the new jobs added EVERY month less than the number of people being added to the work force. Why is the middle east a bigger mess than it has ever been? Why are we having more terrorism on US soil? I could keep going on.

You sound like one of the people that really needs to start looking at your news sources. You need to step outside of your echo chamber.

There is a reason more people voted for Trump in the primaries than any other R candidate in history. Many people are NOT doing well. If you think they are you really are not paying attention.

Problem is, Trump can't fix any of that.

This is such a simplistic, selfish view on things. I am doing just fine. Probably better than most on this board if this board is a true statistical representation of the US population.

I can see the big picture though ... and I am more concerned with what will be left for my son than I am anything else.

Feel free to stick your head in the sand and pretend everything is ok though.

Trump can stop Hillary from advancing the globalist agenda.

Globalism isn't a conspiracy theory, it is an overt, conspicuous agenda that is destroying this country.

This.... I've only had a child for 18 months and it is amazing how your views on politics change.

And Hillary can? Trump will at least slow down the runaway train. Trump would at least appoint conservative judges that actually value the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.

He does... he talks about it at every one of his campaign speeches. You just don't hear about it because you rely on facebook and CNN for your political coverage.

He's a really shitty politician that has no idea how to stay on message. He hasn't been doing this for 30+ years like his opponent. He's extremely flawed and, like I said, I don't like the man but he's a billion times better than the alternative.

By the way, he named the judges he would consider for the Supreme Court shortly after Scalia died. It was widely praised by Conservatives.

Are you expecting World New Tonight or Anderson Cooper to report this?

In case you didn't hear... this week's Clinton Email Dump from Wikileaks showed direct collusion between CBS, NBC, and ABC news with the Clinton campaign.

All of the implied left-wing media bias we've known about for decades just went from implied to factually proven.

I knew it was bad, but those dumps show the majority of the national media talking heads are directly working with the DNC. Outrageous.

He says he will, but remember just a few years ago he appeared to be a Democrat through and through.

Where in West Cobb? I went to Due West Elementary, Pine Mountain Middle, Harrison High. Grew up on Hadaway.

Holy shite. We literally grew up right around the corner from each other (and several years apart). I grew up off of Burnt Hickory. Went to Due West for a couple years before going to private school for the remained of elementary and middle school; would have gone to Pine Mountain. Went to Marietta High School because my parents and grandparents went there, but I was zoned for Harrison. That's wild.

I get what you're saying, and what I wrote comes across as far more snarky than I intended. My main point is don't look to some supposed Washington D.C. hero to solve your problems. That is a guaranteed way to continue disappointment in life.

Be involved, follow this stuff, etc. just don't expect any of it to make a tenth of the difference in your life that your own sweat will.

You think elections are about issues. That's what they want you to think.

Specific issues on which a candidate takes a specific position, and whoever the majority of voters most commonly stand with on the issues will win.

Unfortunately, the media are the ones who tell you what the issues are. Contrary to popular belief, you don't get to decide what the issues are. The media presents the issues to you... and you get to pick how you feel about them... and you get to vote for a candidate that reflects your feelings... and you get to think you are in control....

Civilization isn't about issues. Gays and police brutality and transexuals etc.... those are issues... they have nothign to do with the direction of a civilization and its prosperity.

Let me know you understand this, and we can move on to how Hillary is going to advance the slow and steady decline of our civilization.
