They both are ....

Trumps only redeeming quality is that he has the potential to blow up the system. The problem is he's not smart enough to do it right so who knows what the end result will be.

On the other hand - if Hillary is elected we'll probably end up in world war 3 over some country on the other side of the world that most people (Gary Johnson in particular) can't even find on a map.

i never realized Idiocracy was a documentary.

And so do I.

It would be like a National Championship played by Notre Dame and Ohio State.

I wouldn't bet on it....the GOP is shell shocked...they may be very pliable when Clinton is elected. There are many moderates in the GOP who are afraid they will be primaried if they come out against Trump...when he loses they will be free to do so and for them to appear sincere they will have to lay down the whole obstructionist shite that has served them for the last 8 years. Couple that with the fact that Clinton is a very astute politician and a pragmatist and it is going to look like Clinton is having her way with congress....even when she doesn't get her way she will spin it to look like she did....she ain't no Barrack Obama who actually was naive enough to think he could convince the GOP to work with him...Hillary will make it look they are if they are or they ain't....

I'm not sure about what I am reading. You are correct, that the GOP has been against anything and everything the Dems have been for the past 8 years....but this is nothing new for either party. When Bush was in office, the Dems were against anything and everything the GOP was for, for those 8 years. It's very difficult for me to remember the last time the two parties have worked together for the good of the country.

For many, many years it has been more about getting reelected and less about doing anything for the country.....by both parties.

Don't kid yourself...

When it comes to going further and further in debt to enrich themselves and their accomplices at our expense - they work together just fine.

Thats my point....the dynamic has changed...moderates in the GOP are going to face more pressure from their own party than they are the Democrats....and they are going to have to either go scorched earth or become pragmatists to survive...and the Democrats are probably going to be more open to bipartisanship as contentious as the election is...I think Trump has shown us what a nation divided looks like and a lot of people in Washington and outside Washington have had enough.

Favorite? I am guessing you mean between the two if they are the only choices?

I want to throw up at the thought of either of them being President. It's pretty depressing.

Ok. The way I was reading your previous post, it looked as if you were saying the GOP was being contrary while the Dems were trying.

Neither party, in my opinion is looking out for our best interests. We need a third and maybe even fourth party is the worst way.

That's why they are referred to as the establishment. And this is why Trump is the only rational choice. Trump has never served in a political office and he's already a billionaire so he's not seeking office to enrich himself. Small wonder he is having difficulty treading the political minefield laid down by the establishment on both sides of the isle, the extremely biased liberal progressive media, Hollywood, most big businesses owned and operated by liberal progressives, Social Justice Warriors, extreme environmentalists, you name it; most of the establishment world is against the anti-establishment Trump.

He would have a much easier time navigating that minefield if he wasn't such an arse.

Couldnot agree more and I think we are well on our way to an established third party consisting of moderates and the extreme right and left will have the current two parties to sell their negativity and bullshite to while those of us interested in looking forward and making life better for our progeny will have a party consisting of all kinds of people from all walks of life who are about living and not about hating and arguing....

The GOP is well on its way....the Democrats will only have their ideological purge AFTER the GOP completes theirs as the Democrats have too much to lose to lead the way....the GOP doomed itself to their current state when Nixon took on the southern strategy....the Dems have clung to power as best they could to remain relevant and have emerged as the more organized of the two....but Bernie proved that the organization is a smoke screen and that there is an ideological purge brewing in the democratic party that is identical to that which the GOP is going through as we speak....it won't be as spectacular to watch as the emerging third party will be in place and offer refuge to the moderate democrat...a luxury the moderate republican has not had....

Am I the only one that doesn't read DawgsLife's posts? Especially when he starts hyperventilating all over every thread with ten posts per page?

Proof positive that you and the rest in this thread clearly don't even understand what's really at stake in this election...

So sad to witness history taking a dark dark turn and how easily people are distracted away from realizing what's even happening.

We understand what is at stake. We also understand who is running. that's what scares us. We aren't willing to vote for just anybody because they are different. Have you not checked into Trumps, character at all.

Oh, since you don't read my posts, I don't expect you to respond. Bet you can't help yourself, though.

I completely get it, which is why I was so upset watching the voters of the Republican Party pick the worst possible candidate we could have. Hillary was elected the second Trump got an insurmountable lead in delegates.

While I agree, a winning personality in politics is a fine balance of many things and if Trump was not such an arse, I'm not sure he would have ever gotten the Republican nomination out of a huge field of viable contenders. In sharp contrast, all Clinton had to do was show up to win the Democrat nomination.

I agree, and that is depressing.

Any competent conservative candidate destroys Hillary in this election. shite is FUBAR.
