As others said, I think Gurley is a bit better than Chubb.
But I just find it sad that we had both of these guys at the same time and didn't win shite :(

Gurley has a different gear than Chubb on the field

I agree. Chubb is a great RB but Gurley is a once every 8-10 years kind of player. Gurley ran with an attitude of "I hate you for trying to tackle me" that I've never seen before.

I did, I just don't necessarily agree with it.

I think Gurley is better than Chubb from a physical standpoint rather than statistical.

I've never seen Chubb use the stiffy like Gurley did. I've never seen Chubb hurdle defenders and keep on truckin. I've never seen Chubb show the emotion during the game like Gurley would at times, really hyping the team and crowd up. This last statement is no knock on Chubb, but Gurley would get in the defenders face and jaw with them and even throw some punches . I don't see Chubb doing this, at least not until the NFL if ever.

Then throw in the fact that Gurley is probably the best RB in the NFL right now, and if not he is top 2 or 3. L Bell is the only one I would really rank over Gurley, and that is b/c he has done it longer than 5 games, however I do believe Gurley will keep it up.

Gurley was a master at protecting the football, he never coughed it up, not even his freshman year. Chubb fumble twice if im correct in his freshman year. I will say also I think Chubb had better stamina than Gurley. Gurley would take himself out of alot of plays at times.

Gurley showing that extra gear and this was as a freshman.

Gurley's Vision really is a tier above everyone else.

 3rd and 16 w/ Mason at qb.

I remember my buddy asking about Gurley after this game, he is a bama fan. He couldn't believe he was a freshman trucking them bama guys.

I think Gurley is faster and maybe has more vision. What Chubb has is that he is just hard to tackle.

this is a play I always reference when this topic comes up. I just don't think I can name too many RBs, at UGA or otherwise, who are capable of making a play like this. Other than speed, it shows off pretty much anything you'd want in a RB- juke ability, escapability, strength, balance, vision. I love chubb obviously, but I don't know if he can do this.

Running for a little over two yards per carry and coughed up a huge fumble today, hope he can turn it around
