Then why are you so upset about people criticizing Kirby Smart?

Well, it HAS worked wonders for Will Muschamp, so you might have a point.

We see you criticizing the players. Mind showing us a post where you criticized Kirby Smart?

Exactly. The very first thing he said when hired is that we've got to get BIGGER

Stronger, I can see and agree with.

Our OL averages 308.4 LBS per man.

Alabama averages 314.8. 6 LBS difference.

I thought what I said was quite clear. You seem to be a bit stilted on your criticism. It seems to be aimed at the players, Mark Richt. Pretty much everybody but the coaching staff.

ETA

For the record....I am disappointed with Kirby Smart, so far, but I am in no way calling for him to be fired. That's dumb and silly. He will need 3-4 years AT LEAST....and I lean more towards 4 years.

I bet that was inspiring to the players. Gee...I wonder why we haven't seen much effort from a few of them? Or why one of them trashed him on social media? One of these days some of you "Kirby can't do wrong" kids is going to realize there's a difference between being critical of a team and being an a-hole. Right now, Kirby is just being an a-hole and at the same time giving himself an excuse for a bad product on the field. Maybe that'll improve, maybe it won't. I hope it does.

He only said what nearly every other sports writer in the country was saying, that our team isn't very good. Very few 1st year coaches do well so develop some patience and see how the next few seasons go.

I said that the fact that the players aren't making any money shouldn't mean that they don't get criticized. You responded by asking why I was upset by Kirby getting criticized. What about that makes sense to you?

I understand what you are saying here. And its true. but you know what small facts are left out when this statistic is told?

1) Very few first time HC are hired at Universities with the size and prestige of Georgia.
2) Very few first year Head Coaches take over a team that won 10 games the previous season.

Those are two pretty important facts that get forgotten.

What doesn't make sense is you don't seem capable of criticizing the coaching staff and vehemently defend them. I have no problem criticizing the players. however, I have no problem criticizing the coaching staff, either.

True but let's not try to spin 2015 into a good season, which is what the proclamation about ten wins does.

Ok, you missed my point and appear to have the reading comprehension of a 4 year old but let's move on.

The coaching staff deserves the blame for yesterday's game, of course they do. I'm just trying to be patient with a first year head coach still trying to figure things out. Is that an easy enough concept to wrap your head around, or do I need to spell it out a little more?

Chaney is legit trash at calling plays.

And I honestly didn't think it could be much worse than Schotty
I'd rather have Chaney than Schotty

Idk man.

I've watched Chaney call plays at Tennessee and Arkansas. He was shite back then, just like he's shite now.

They are both bad coordinators though. Idk I'm just at a loss for words after losing to Vandy.

Was expecting a 8/9 win season, but I wasn't expecting a loss to one of the worst Vandy teams in the past decade.

10 wins a is a pretty darn good season. What would you give right now for a 10 win season? And I will maintain we have an easier schedule this year than last.

You keep arguing that 2015 was not really good, and that the team was not very good. if not...then I would say mark Richt did a pretty darn good job last year.

To this point....right now...I have no problem with Chaney. That might be overstating it......he does seem to get enamored with all runs or all passes, even when they are not working. But is this Chaney, or Kirby Smart? If it is Chaney, then why doesn't Smart sit him down and straighten it out?

All in all, I like that Chaney is using our Tight Ends better. I like the little fullback out to the flat passes he has put in. I am not in love with Chaney, but I like a lot of what he has done, so far.

you have more experience watching him than I do then although his play calling is some what predictable it's working to an extent these 3rd and 7s and throwing a little screen to the tight ends are getting first downs wich I'm happy with but idk he's a little predictable like Bobo.

He's mixing it up quite well as I said in the last post he's a little predictable now I'm assuming smart is ok'ing the play call Chaney is making or does Chaney have full control of the play call?

Thats a weak arse argument. Did any of those teams we beat end up ranked? I think not. It was probably the most over hyped 10 win season ever.

What difference does that make? We won 10 games and are now playing and equal or weaker schedule this year, depending on who you talk to.
