We never went to the downtown one (I did when I worked at the Athens campus), but they're a good option to have around if you have celiac disease. My wife does and Five Guys was one of the few places that understood what that meant and would change gloves and cover the board surface when making her food. Their fries, along with CFA, are some of the only ones that are gluten free, too. Everyone else uses the same oil for breaded items.

Krystal was always an option if somebody was brave enough to drive. I can't count the times I woke up after a big night next to 10 empty KRYSTAL boxes and mustard under my fingernails.

Man Krystal is one of those places where you need to schedule commode time. Must ensure you have access within the hour.

I hope the drive wasn't long and there wasn't anyone in the car with you.
I always get a laugh at the Varsity in the International Terminal at Hartsfield. The last thing I want to do is pile into an airplane for an overseas flight with somebody that just jammed some Varsity chili dogs.

Prince ave Krystal was shady as frick in the 90’s if you went inside...in drive through rear ended a car in drive thru, car behind us rear ended us, we got out, all drunk and said frick it nobody wants any cops . But I’ll buy your krystals.

I almost got busted there for peeling off my pickles and flinging them at the windows....while eating inside....while they had a cop inside keeping an eye on things.

I passed out in the back seat on the way out of town. Woke up saw the Krystal's and threw a 20 in the front seat. SMASHED said Krystal's then passed out again. No idea if any flatulence was a problem.

I know most of you are younger but if you're over the age of 30 and eat Five Guys on a regular basis you might as well go ahead and buy the next size bigger in pants - or get some with an elastic waistband.
You can't run or work out enough in a day to make up for that shite. Tastes good though.

It's just a big fat double cheeseburger and enough fries to choke a goat. It's a bunch of food - that's it. The quality is fine but I'd hate to know how many calories were in a typical meal there.

I gotcha. That's true with most everything, though. We never eat all the fries. I mean, between my wife and kids, we probably east most of them, but that's spread around. Taco Bell still has trans fat in their stuff. That crap'll kill ya.

AMici closed, I think.
BLing Pig moved downtown, into the same spot that has been one wing place after another after another for the last 20 years.
I don't know if they are "TheBest" but when I want Wings in athens, that's where I go.
