I like Five Guys ok but I really like the Freddy’s chain for burgers and fries.

I wonder if Clocked's exceptional service put them out of business?

I ate post-drinking pokey sticks almost every day for a year and then wondered why I weighed 150

this is honestly devastating. i understand that some people arent chain supporters, but frick that.

five guys was awesome and at 2:30am after the bars, it was fricking fantastic. and you got to eat peanuts and still just have a blast for another hour or so. this is sad news

Eddie's, DP Dough, Zaxby's, and Barbs all are still good post downtown options.

Them Barbs boys will roll a fat burrito that'll knock you out in 5 seconds

Well that sucks, still have the one on Epps Bridge across from the Lowes. But like some I find it a bit over rated. Give me Grind House 6 days to Sunday.

Groove in Epps Bridge - Meh......

Honestly think I ate there twice or less when I was a student. I'm still upset that the downtown waffle house wasn't a thing when I was in undergrad.

Only downside is that place gets slam packed around 12:30-3 a.m. on weekends and there's always a cop inside looking for debauchery.

True. That would have been a major buzzkill. Many a night wrapped up with hashbrowns at the milledge ave waho. At least Peaches reopened. That makes my lunch choice pretty clear anytime I'm back in town.

I'm probably in the minority, but I'm glad.

I've never been a fan of five guys. Very overrated in my opinion.

And that's without the whole "sorry, we only serve fries in portions meant for two people" thing.

Couldn't agree more.....I don't know if there is a more over rated chain.....

I don't think I've ever been to one. What about the cookout place? It was just spreading when I moved west...it sucks. Steak and Shake back in the 70s and 80s was great but now that they are on every exit they suck also....Whataburger is the best fast food burger in my opinion...we used to have 3 in Georgia....Macon, Augusta and Rome....as far as I know they closed....about the equivalent of chick Fiila for burgers minus the great service

That's true but even chick fila has that problem west of Dallas and east of California......seriously go to a Chickfila in New Mexico, west Texas, Colorado or anywhere out west and they can be filthy and the food quality can be as bad as McDonald's.....I would've never believed until I moved out here.....

Seems like we had Herbies and the Grill open late down town or you had to walk/drive to the Waffle House at 5 Points or ATL Highway.
