But that's how it usually goes. Then the school will announce a string of new asst. coaching hires and we will all do a collective swoon (no matter who it is) convincing each other we now - finally - have a staff in place that will win us that Nat. title.

Wouldn't be the preseason without a UGA natty!

Well, I'll admit that in pre-seasons past when I predicted a UGA National Championship I was possibly a bit biased and naive.

But this really IS gonna be our year! Book it!

We will have no excuses...

We have the athletes to make it happen.
We have the offensive scheme. We have the coaches (exception being unnamed D assistance).
We have the favorable schedule.
We have all the chips falling in our favor when it comes to opponents losing great playmakers i.e. USC loses Clowney, Ellington, and company; Clemson loses watkins, and boyd; Missou loses key pieces; Vanderbuilt loses coaching staff and key players; Auburn loses Mason;

I feel like we have the potential to come out and dominate if we can keep guys healthy and on the field (no suspensions..uh.em Josh Harvey Clemmons).

We have a QB that has played TWO games, there are going to be some growing pains. Hopefully TG stays healthy all year and the young backs can keep the running game going to take pressure off Mason. New Coach doesn't always mean instant results (don't get me wrong I do like the hire)

Some insight into why the position coaches have not been selected and why it may be a while before they are.

I see what you are saying but I still believe this is not an excuse for losses.

We should be in better shape than other schools that started freshmen (or new QBs) last year and had success i.e. Auburn and FSU. Mason has three games of experience and he will be a Senior so he should know the scheme and what to expect regarding pressure and speed. Also he and Bobo will have an entire offseason to prepare for what's to come.

Really I expect any change to be an improvement given the s#!+ show last season.

I believe he was at Hoover HS as well. I am guessing that he takes on the Secondary and asst weight lifting. My .02
