1) I'm not seeing this anywhere
2) ladyluck never had a source to begin with
Edit: Nevermind, it's breaking everywhere now.

I think he will help with recruits (NFL experience) and should be able to run Richt's offense well with some of his ideas thrown in. Not my ideal hire, but altogether pretty good considering the circumstances. The one thing that worries me is how most Rams fans wanted to get rid of him. I don't know if they were like UGA fans with Bobo and dumb, or UGA fans with Grantham and smart. I guess we'll see.

I did have a source... a current golfer on the PGA tour. Played at UGA.
He just got it wrong. Don't know who HIS source was.

Great, now we will still have a Schotty offense...

A college hiring an active NFL coordinator seems pretty unheard-of. I've never seen it, at least

I'm somewhat ambivalent about this. Hope he's a helluva recruiter.

I like it on paper but always hard to tell about the "fire in the belly" on guys stepping away from pro ball.

Hilarity reigns at Gatorchatter...

Rumors flying this has happened. Although I appreciate the fact he's a Gator, he has had TERRIBLE offenses in the NFL for years. I was praying he didn't come back here, frankly. This is very good news for us.

Maybe he can do to ugay like Muschamp did to us?

Okay - I've looked into this a little more and I am starting to like this more and more. In terms of keeping our NFL offense pedigree intact, this certainly does it and will only help our efforts to recruit offensive stars (like Eason) that have realistic NFL aspirations.

He was Drew Brees' QB coach for 3-4 years, but he was also the OC for the Jets and Rams who both has pretty poor offenses. He actually had pretty decent success running the ball with Stacy last year, and Mason this year. I worry about his play calling a little bit, but I also think it's hard to coach a really bad QB to be good, and he has had some really bad quarterbacks.
