Seeing Twitter nonsense that AD is out? Anyone know anything besides Twitter saying hes going to Texas to be closer to his kid?

that and NIL money seem to be the crux of the matter. Seems to be all but done according to other outlets.

At lteast we got Lovett and Rara to help offset. Both those guys will be big helps.

Been discussing it in the portal thread.. consensus from insider folks is that he is gone. Last update from graham said he is shopping for NIL more than going to be closer to his son.

Graham said we agreed to a NIL price with AD and he took that number and shopped it with Texas and USC.. conjecture at this point but would be disappointing if that's the case.

this is what many people asked for.

"We want our EA Sports NCAA Video game!"
"Mean old universities are exploiting these poor college kids!"
"These athletes make money for the school, they should get something in return!"

This is what you get from that. Free and unfettered transfers the second something doesn't go your way. Tampering with other school's rosters. Unlimited and uncapped payments to 17 year old recruits. It's the wild west.

Bye. Don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out. Enjoy watching the playoffs. If he actually did this, Kirby can't let him back in the locker room. Sends a bad message.

I got no hard feelings to him, understand your thoughts but who knows what actually happened in the backroom.

Is Rosemy Jacksaint back as well? He filled in pretty well this year.

If Graham Coffey is right, he agreed to a price but then decided to use other schools as leverage for more. Call his bluff and clean out his locker. He seems to be waffling on where he wants to go, so make the decision easy for him.

Just like recruiting out of HS, we have to have guys who bleed Red & Black. Mitchell has been clutch for us in big games, despite injuries, but if he doesn't want to be a Dawg from wire to wire, do we want/need that in the locker room?

It makes me sick to think he would be taking his talents elsewhere, but if is heart isn't in it, it's better that he goes.

He'll make whatever team he goes to better, we'll be the same with pr without him. At the end of the day The Defense is here to stay

Apparently he has a child in Texas so that may play into his decision. He had so many clutch TDs in the playoffs that I can't hold this against him. Best of luck AD.

If he's gone, I wish him the best (unless he's playing against us).

It really is a shame that NIL and the portal have turned college football into what it has become. I get leaving for playing time, but when you leave for more money, that's just a shame.

Just curious but if he has a kid in Texas then why not just take a scholly from some smaller school close to the kid and transfer to UT or AtM or TCU or whoever after he blows up at the smaller school for a year? If, you know, it really is about his child.

Just odd that his child starts to become a deciding factor round about the same time he gets offered wads of cash.

His kid and baby mama apparently live in Tennessee and not Texas. This is about cold hard cash.

I don’t wish him any ill will, but I will laugh at him when we three-peat next January.
