No loyalty anymore. NIL has ruined the sport. If it gets any worse I may stop watching all together. College was always better cuz of the passion from fans and players and this is stripping that away.

He'll be forever a piece of Georgia history, having two different game-breaking TDs in playoff games, but next man up.

Bringing back the sit one year unless a grad transfer rule would fix this.

I agree. It sucks. For a guy to insert himself in Georgia lore like he has to just leave because of a few more dollars is a gut punch. But it’s also a reality check. Us, Bama, Texas, whoever. We’re all pawns these kids use to make it to the league and make money.

Just odd that his child starts to become a deciding factor round about the same time he gets offered wads of cash.

If he does go to USC the simple answer is that he's a chicken shite coward and was only using his child to hide his true motive.

I dont wish him any ill will, but I will laugh at him when we three-peat next January.

Why he's got 2 already. Hard enough to get one, and winning a 3rd may not mean much to him at this point. It's all about the bread. Shouldn't matter all that much anyway he was gone most of the season and we did well without him.

Do you have a quote from AD that you are referencing?

It's basically minor league NFL now with hired mercenaries who mostly couldn't give any less of a shite about the school, state, or fans.

College football should feel like a souped up version of high school football instead of minor league NFL, IMO. I'm losing a little more interest in the sport every day, which is sad because I used to be one of those who watched every Saturday from noon to midnight (or 3am if Hawaii was on).

People getting in their ear about getting paid now as NFL not a certainty.

We signed 2 receivers off of other schools. Bouie. Kendrick. Tykee.

It feels like you haven't been paying attention the past several years.

Tampering with other school's rosters. Unlimited and uncapped payments to 17 year old recruits. It's the wild west.

Since the court has not agreed with the NCAA it seems they have said F it. I don't know how it could be regulated in a fair way. Just a mess

No, I have been paying attention, which is why I made that comment about losing interest.

So with 2 national championships the past 2 seasons, you have been showing less interest in UGA football.

Got it.

I'm losing interest in college football in general because it feels more and more like minor league NFL every day. Sorry if you are incapable of comprehending that.

UGA and college football are the same thing.

It's your words. Own them.
You are losing interest in college football while your chosen team wins 2 national championships.

And I reply, OK.

I agree that CFB is changing for the worst. Seeing our best WR bail for more money blows.

This is the way it'll be from here on out. AD must've given the team a heads up, as evident by the additions of Lovett & Thomas, so at least he let Kirby and the staff know and still played throughout the playoffs, unlike Gilbert.

But no one complains when we gain players, so the portal giveth and the portal taketh away

Again, this is the new norm now. Take it for what you will. If anyone in this era stays 3-4 years then that's worth DGD status alone, lol.
