We got accused of cheating in the Bama recruiting thread, so it's safe to say we're headed in the right direction.

Credit to them that 3 others said he's an idiot.

Ya know right. You have a direct link, I need something to revel in.

Isn't Gibbs an EE. He and Lecounte in the backfield helps minimize the lack of numbers for corners in this cycle.

A 3 star safety commit for Penn St is visiting this weekend, can't think of his name but he's from NC and has a very good relationship with Beamer. He was considered a VA Tech lock before they made a coaching change.

We needed another good corner in a bad way. Still can't believe that kid chose the Gamecocks over us.

I think we get all of the bolded and hopefully
Collins(wide receivers should be lining up to play here)
Wilson or Leatherwood(Pittman do work)
Rice or Britt(Bama boys but maybe Kirby finally gets one)

It's not over, he still keeps in contact with our coaches and has since attended a game on an unofficial. That being said, I don't believe our chances to be that good. The staff at 247 are adamant that our staff is working on and will flip at least 1 true corner that will make everyone happy. They won't give a name, though.

I said this awhile back and will say it again....I know Jamyest Williams is talented, and highly recruited. However, the thing that concerns me is his size. Obviously, we would all go with talent over size to a certain point, but we are all frustrated with our corners not being able to adequately cover the bigger receivers, and yet we are all in for Jamyest. Certainly, if you have a shot at somebody like him, you take him, but we are again putting together what appears to be a smallish DB class.

Gibbs is a good size, but he is a Safety...but LeCount and Poole are both under 6" 200LBs. (I am wondering how much under 6" they are since their listed heights are probably fudged a bit.

I would love to see us go all in on Jefferey Okudah and/or flip Jacoby Stevens now that Miles is gone.
Maybe wishful thinking, and I realize a lot of this years corners are on the shorter side.

Uh...no. If you watch his film he can play corner at the next level.

Who cares. They are play makers.

Good! I am hoping we can get some size at CB. I didn't realize he played both.

Understood, but we are always complaining that we can't match up against the newer, bigger receivers. Getting CB's that are 5'8 and 5'9 are not going to help that, especially when the opponents get down near the goal line.

We're not an NFL franchise. Tim Jennings and Malkom Partish have both done well here as undersized corners. I'll take Jamyest I he wants to be here.

Also, don't frick with our nut Oregon. Nate Mcbride is our heir apparent to Roquan at ILB. Hands off.

I think McBride was just enamored with all of the Nike influence there. That's just how it sounded in the article on Dawgnation by Jeff Sentell.

I'm hoping Kirby & Co. see that article all the same and lock that dude down.

Lecounte won the opening tip of the state basketball championship game with Jonesboro. He was going against the 6'7 guy who's committed to Louisville. Not only did he win the tip but he actually went up and cupped it and flipped it back to his teammate on the free-throw line. The kid is a phenomenal athlete. There's a reason Kirby made him his first visit.

I'll feel a lot better if we land both Holloman and Collins. Right now, we don't have any targets for Eason to throw the rock to. Why doesn't James Robinson like us? He's assured playing time if he were to sign with us. Why aren't elite receiver beating our door down?

Bama WR commit Jeudy stated he would like to hear more from UGA and take a OV, of course he was HS teammates with Ridley. Chaney and company need to get on the horn if that young man wants to visit, he is absolutely electric.

Maybe they all think we will feature a run heavy offense because we're known for elite RBs and we have a HC with a defensive background.

Maybe we haven't looked that great on offense in 2015 and 2016.

Maybe we come down too hard on weed users.

If we could show a dynamic passing attack for a game or two it might help.
