Those are the official stories, but I had heard awhile back that mom was not too happy with him for committing without talking to her.

Momma LOVES Kirby and UGA. Like hell she was gonna travel from Lee County up to Michigan in the late Fall, either.

Yep. That's my thinking. Kid went up to Michigan, apparently by himself, and Harbaugh talked him into a commitment. He announced and momma lit into him when he got home. He decided to let some time pass before he decommitted for appearances sake.

On a related note, CB's pouring in for Soloman to the Dawgs, which would send me into 
In addition to those CB's, a handful are rolling in for OLB/ILB Walter Grant from Cairo, GA for the Dawgs. Love this guy, if for no other reason, because he plays for the Syrupmakers. But supposedly super underrated.
Rusty has also hinted at a "MAJOR" target being comfortable, I wouldn't be surprised if it was Soloman, but maybe it's someone else?

I have no idea who he means, but I think swift and webb are announcing on Sept 1 which is coming up soon and we've long been thought ot lead for both.

Would make sense given the picture he sent out this weekend. Should have figured that one.
But Swift announces September 1st, whereas Webb is planning to take visits, from my understanding. Still clearly considered a package deal, but we'll just have to watch it play out.

I'd imagine Crow wouldn't have said Salyer if it weren't true. But we'll keep our fingers crossed on both.

No reason for him not to be, if you ask me. I was a little perplexed when he was dropped a few spots after The Opening, where he performed well. Overall, though, try not to get too wrapped up in rankings. A guy who has "it" will do well regardless of his ranking.
