It really depends. Houston needs to finish 4-1 or better then let the chips fall where they may.

So I preordered the potential home tiebreaker game & Game 3 of the ALDS. They were not cheap, but going to be so worth it if I get to use them.

Stolen from TA. Shows so potential scenarios. I think we may be able to eliminate Minny. They're the farthest back and finish with 3 vs KC. KC will be fighting for home field vs TOR.

We have to finish above two teams out of Texas, Anaheim, and Minnesota. Below is a breakdown of how we need those teams to finish, given our record over the next five. With Minnesota and Houston both on three-game winning streaks and Anaheim on a six-game winning streak, it'll be interesting to see who can maintain that over the next six days.

Hou 2-3 85-77
Min 3-3 84-78
Ana 2-4 84-78
Tex 0-6 84-78

Hou 3-2 86-76
Min 4-2 85-77
Ana 3-3 85-77
Tex 1-5 85-77

Hou 4-1 87-75
Min 5-1 86-76
Ana 4-2 86-76
Tex 2-4 86-76

Hou 5-0 88-74
Min 6-0 87-75
Ana 5-1 87-75
Tex 3-3 87-75

Only 4 days left.

Rangers up 2.5 on the Astros, 3.0 on the Angels.
Astros up 0.5 on the Angels, 1.5 on the Twins.

Angels @ Rangers for the last four.
Astros are off today then finish with 3 @ DBacks.
Angels have 1 more @ the Tribe then finish with 3 vs thr Royals.

Any of the 3 could finish with a share of the division. Any of the 4 could finish with the 2nd WC.

My last O's post of the season (maybe).
Manny Machado hit 2 HR's and stole 2 bases tonight. A rare feat in MLB.
Go Stros.
Go Rangers.
In that order.

Rangers locked up a playoff stop tonight. Yanks clinched the WC.

Astros hold a 1 game lead over Minny & LAA.

I've got to tip my hat to the Rangers, they really put their foot on the gas when in counted.

Hope we can finish it tonight and set our rotation. Am actually hoping the Astros take care of business and we can knock the angels out.

Astros just need to win with Keuchel & McHugh while the Twins & Angels go 1-1 or worse. That way we can save McCullers for the Yankees. Otherwise we have to use him in the last game then throw Fiers vs NYY. Assuming we somehow make the WC and beat the Yanks we should have our pitching in line with Keuchel going game 1.

8 games out August 1st. Crazy. They still have some old rangers in them (last weekend's series) but this is reminding me of the 10 and 11 teams. Just find a way to win. Hope you guys can win a couple and we can get 3 more to ice it. Doubtful, but would love to see y'all in the ALCS.

It helps when the Astros played sub .500 for that stretch.
