Anytime your(Rangers) team's rival(Angels) gets left out of postseason play in embarrassing fashion it is a great year. Not to mention their bloated payroll and dwindling prospects going forward 
I want Houston to be our rival it just doesn't feel like it. No hate. We always win. Feels more like a Notre Dame-Navy game when we beat down the stros
I guess Rangers nation should root for Dallas Cuckold and the Baby Astros? It's unAmerican to root for the Yankees

Hopefully one day we will be able to compete with the juggernaut baseball franchise, the mighty monsters of the metroplex, the Texas Rangers.
