My parents gave up season tickets the year before we went into the sec. Now the only available ones are top deck

Kyle field update today...few notes
- on-time and on-budget
- John Sharp says cell service will be "amazing". Will only be partially updated for '14 but the new seating will have fiber to accommodate 100k on phone at once.
- NE corner will be complete by end of May
- regent Jim Schwertner made retarded comments that he wants to rename Kyle, Kyle Field: The House that Johnny Built. And he really means it
- they are celebrating the "topping" today. The very top points are in and the work from here is filling it out

These regents are seriously trying to screw up a wet dream. From the 12 empty seats to this latest tomfoolery. They can't help but tripping themselves up. They can't just take the compliments of a job well done with a head nod and a smile. They have to try and make a big splash allthewhile looking like nouveau rich who are obviously out of place.

On a serious note, everybody should be prepared for this to lead to them trying to give a corporate sponsor naming rights like they did with Olsen. My family heard there has already been serious discussion behind the scenes.

I won't be shocked because money makes the world go round, but I wouldn't pay much for naming rights to Kyle. The announcers will say it on tv and all, but I can't imagine ever calling it anything but Kyle myself.
It's sort of like AT&T Stadium. I have to look up wtf people are talking about whenever they use that name. Money well spent AT&T!

Does anybody else remember the first season with the ribbon boards when they used to be too bright during the nights games and the entire stadiums lighting changed depending on what they showed?
I keep wondering if they are going to have the same problem having these 3 new screens around the stadium.
