re: I'm curious how the Ark will react if we go 9-3 but the final loss is a blowout to LSU?

But what if, for example, Mond breaks a leg against MSU, Starkel comes in and re-breaks his ankle, and Hubes becomes the starter with his bum shoulder?

Did you really just go full CGSC on me?

To fool you, apparently! My favorite statistic: the average American has one testicle. (Are you above or below average?)

Statistics are useful in a lot of cases, but I don't see how they can be applied to expected future football performance. Or future anything, for that matter.

Y'all are letting a close loss and a close win make y'all think Sumlin is going to miraculously start winning championships.

Every year die hard Aggies let this shite happen mentally and then the next year we shite The bed and see the revisionist "I wanted him fired last year" bullshite.

I am going full scale out of control ban me from the board nuclear with my thread bumps next year when it happens. WBS is turning back into RodneyThomas86, I feel it coming.

9-3 means we beat South Carolina, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi St, Auburn, & Ole Miss.

That blowout to Mississippi state was a deal breaker to me

Even if we won out and beat LSU and Auburn to get to 9-3, I want a new coach

I don’t think it’s a point worth much arguing over because we have less than a 5% chance to run the table from this point. But I’d agree, I’ve seen his true colors and would want him gone even at 9-3 potentially 10 with a bowl. Wouldn’t happen though as that would mean finally beating LSU and that would be enough to hold the big boosters back for another year or two.

These "what if we beat xx" scenarios aren't worth analyzing because we can't even expect not to get blown out

I was done two years ago after Bama and OM. Sumlin should have been fired then.

All would have been forgiven in my eyes had he parlayed a gift: #4 in the goddamn nation into at least a NY6 bowl. Instead he managed to pratfall spectacularly from #4 to unranked. In 4 weeks. Then lost to a BDF team in the bowl.

i think in our heart of hearts, none of us ever really believed Sumlin was going to deliver last year. At least I didn't. That #4 ranking didn't mean anything to me at the time cause I knew he'd squander it all away.

You make that pick and I'll pick 5-7 and we'll see who is the closest.

I see y'all going 7-5, with the possibility of 8-4.

Y'all usually give Auburn fits, but think about it if you don't beat Auburn you'll finish the season 2-3 with your lone wins coming from New Mexico State and Ole Miss.

Y'all need to can Sumlin's arse.

On the flip side, this will be a super competitive offseason for coaching hires, here are some that are noteworthy

Florida
Ole Miss
Tennessee

More than likely UCLA and Arkansas...

So that's 4 SEC teams alone with 3 of them being founding members and two of them being college blue bloods. So who can you realistically get that's out there? You don't want to end up like LSU and hire Ed O.

As bad as it sounds your best option may be to hold onto Sumlin at the end of the season, the SEC has become a revolving door for coaches who can't stack up to Alabama. I mean shite McElwain just got fired and he was in the SEC Championship 2 out of his 3 years. I want you to think about that, yeah the East was shite and for an offensive minded coach his offense sure sucked but he won his division 2 out of his 3 years at UF.

Sidenote, Dan Mullen will be at Florida next year.
