don't really get the bunt with Choruby. I'm just never on board with our bunting strategy mostly because I hate bunting

goodness. Ecker on in the 6th. I can't complain about our season but Childress goes full retard over managing every once in a while still

I'm now looking forward to us pinch running for Melton or something next inning. Sigh.

Ecker has been outstanding as usual. I really don't like using him like this for the first time all year in a game we're losing though

I get doing this in a regional. But I just hate waiting til the very last series of the year as we have no idea how he'll respond.

But maybe I'm just wrong

I think that's safe to say in this case. Ecker was nails.

Boomer and Melton going 0-fer and Homan defense and bad call(s) at 1B did us in.

eh, wasn't meaning that to be worried about how he pitched today. I don't like changing the routine of a guy and potentially causing him to lose his mojo right before the elimination point of the season.

Anyway, onward and upward. Winner of Mizzou-Vandy 930am Wednesday

btw, I think the UF, A&M, and MSU are all locks to be national seeds. The SEC will likely get a 4th but it may be decided in Hoover.

Will be interesting to see how different schools handle it. I'd be perfectly happy to punt but I bet RC won't.

So I wonder what the polls will look like Monday.

We did go 2-2 so we may drop, but unlikely since we took a series from a top 10 opponent. UF has been #1 almost all year long, but will they stay after the loss to LSU and 4th place finish?

You're not alone in such thoughts post season picture

quote:

Four SEC teams look locked in as national seeds now (Mississippi State, South Carolina, Florida and Texas A&M). LSU (19-11 in the league), Vanderbilt and Ole Miss (both 18-12) both look like very strong hosting candidates, giving the SEC a real shot at an unprecedented seven hosts. One of those three teams could also conceivably make a run at a fifth national seed out of the SEC with a deep run in Hoover.
