The problem is I think ULaLa is the 16th host so if you bump up Tulane, you probably drop Lafayette. And since D1 has Tulane as the 2 seed at ULL, the effect is the same.
If somehow they were both hosts, I could see State getting Tulane since they can't be paired with OM or LSU. D1 has them paired with Clemson but I don't think that is in range.

DBU is 1-4 vs top 50 and has a 31 RPI. They are a conference winner and went 14-4 vs 50-100 so maybe but man that seems a reach. If you are going to reach that far it seems logical to do so with a geographical advantage
So as I look at it in more detail, it seems almost a given we'll be paired with ULaLa if they host.

On that note, assuming 7 of the 16 regionals being SEC and since SEC schools can't be paired in Supers, 7 of the 8 Supers would have an SEC team slotted into it and we may not get another SEC team that makes the tourney.

Tied it 4-4. We can get Banks home, I say you bring in Ecker to close out the last 3 inning. A win today is all you need. That gives Hill & Simonds their normal starts and we can rest Ecker & Vinson and give us a chance to use a few deeper guys in the pen in "big" situations.

ok - things that bunt K pisses me off
1) it's a tournament format and we're playing for extras
2) Homan has been one of our best hitters on the day
