yeah don't get that either. Speedy + RSJ is going to be so great to watch this year, plus Kennedy and whoever else shows up.

imgur keeps crashing for me but some good pics in there.

today is the first 2-a-days

Defensive backs

CB - Deshazor, Garner
CB - Harris, Davis
Harvey and Ellis have also been in the mix a bit but as of right now, Davis would be the first corner off the bench. He fits TJ's style well

NB - Harvey, Ellis, Burns
Burns got a little time in but this is going to be Nick Harvey's spot in all likelihood. He'll probably move to corner full time at some point but he's going to be a star. Nickel is the clearest path for him right now.

SS - Matthews, Honeycutt, Wiggins
Honeycutt moves to his more natural position and he's being asked to push Matthews (which he is in fact doing)

FS - Raven, Wilson, Watts
I've heard mixed reviews on Raven (some really good, some really bad) so I'm not really sure what to believe. Wilson is getting rave reviews and the one question left is how he handles the physicality. He's got the mind and instincts to be really good. Don't be surprised if he's the starter on 8/28

Wasn't his natural position quarterback?

Would be huge if Wilson can step up and contribute as a starter right away. Strong safety still looks like it could be interesting this year.

Seems like an odd analogy to me, but I dont have the context of the rest of the article.

He's just saying he thinks they're THAT good.

Sezer totally out of the rotation? Just not big enough?

Yeah I just haven't heard Sezer's name pop up much at all. He was moved to nickel in the spring and was competing well there. The problem is Nick Harvey showed up and it pushed everyone down the depth chart.

His lack of length will always limit him but I certainly wouldn't rule him out of anything long term though. He's smart, works hard, and is a good athlete. The position and technique can sometimes take some time.

Something we haven't had at the safety position.

Something tells me Davis won't be playing much on 8/28.

The last high draft pick (Rounds 1-3) we had taken at safety (and even defensive back for that matter) was Terrence Kiel in the 2003 draft.
