I'll take 3* Louisiana defensive players all day.

And the kid led LA in picks last season as a senior, if I'm not mistaken. I like those kind of instincts.

Deshazor interview after yesterday's practice. This may get around - he actually mentioned LSU in the lockerroom

At the end of the interview, he was asked if there was a particular team the Aggies really wanted to beat, and after some superfluous coachspeak about taking things one day at a time, mentioned that it's in the back of everyone's mind that they have yet to beat LSU since they've been here so of course they want to focus and beat them this season.

Basically the gist of it.

he was asked which game the players were focusing on and he started by giving the canned one game at a time thing. And then he sort of dropped that there are pictures on the walls of the lockerroom of LSU-A&M games and he clearly wants to beat them bad. Being from LA I'm sure that game is of special significance to him. But the comment there are "LSU pictures on the wall in the lockerroom" should be fun.

Good. There is no denying we need to beat them this year. For as much flack as we get about this season and us struggling, I see LSU having some problems as well. Overall talent wise its probably a push and we get them at home in what should be a jacked up atmosphere on T-day night.

I want our team to want to beat LSU more than anybody else because I think deep down our whole fanbase would want the same thing as well.

Crazy shite always happened on our T Day games. From the two wins with Fran to almost beating them in 09 and knocking them out of the NC game, to the shitshow that was the 11 game. I think the short rest, different schedule and hyped atmosphere throws a little curveball. I hope it translates to a home win this year

So MMG beat Cedric Ogbuehi 5 consecutive times in camp. Trouble transitioning to LT or is Myles better than advertised?

Leaning towards the latter.

With nothing but optimism to buttress my opinion

Can't wait to see Myles play. Hope he wrecks 17 different kinds of shop.

The first one is Mr. lol sorry, I've been calling him Mr. Myles Garrett, and MMG for short... sorry, got excited.

I'm so saturated with koolaid I wake up like this.

I think he'll be the best DE in the SECw by the end of the year.

Same here. I have nothing but unadulterated optimism flowing through me right now.

Our DL is starting to sound like it could be better than advertised...glug glug glug

I've been optimistic about the DL for some time now, and the reports coming out of practice aren't doing anything to temper my mood.

It's gonna be sweet when we set our all time attendance record vs LSU, the game that sends us to our first SEC championship
