He's got nothing but praise as soon as he got to campus (mid year guy I think).

Sumlin said in his interview that Reynolds, right now, is where Derel Walker was when he left. That's not bad.

We awarded 3 walk-ons with scholarships today

QB Connor McQueen
LB Justin Bass
S Sam Moeller (guess he's no longer #12)

What if Kenny Hill turns out to be not just adequate but really good? If that were to be the case, would it change any of y'all's expectations for the season?

I already think that. My expectations are influenced solely by how I think the defense will be.

Not really. I'm already assuming we will have a top 3 offense in the conference at its worst

This is the correct answer.

If Hill struggles we have Allen and we also have a great OL and tons of skill talent around them.

Defense has several areas though where we are looking for young guys to step up that we really just don't know if they can and if we get an injury or 2 in the wrong place we are really screwed.

I think we average 35 points a game regardless. The question is if we can keep opponents under 25.

I feel like our offense can make QBs who are adequate look really good. I think a lot of SEC fans don't understand that because they never saw Cody Hodges or Sonny Cumbie torch their team for 400 yards. It helps to have a shitload of weapons too, and I also happen to think Kenny is pretty damn talented. I would be surprised if Kenny is not on one of the three All-SEC teams at the end of the year.

But they also saw what happens when Texas Tech plays a real defense (Oklahoma 2002, Oklahoma 2009) with a championship on the line.

We will have 2-3 WRs, 2-3 OL, and a QB on the 3 All SEC Teams

You don't think any of our defensive players will be on?

Razor is already preseason 1st-team.

Looking back at it I think they only do two teams post season. I'll still say Kenny will be first or second team. Ced O is a lock for that I think, along with Everett probably. I think we will get a receiver on one of those teams as well, probably Kennedy or RSJ. And of course Kaser

it's 1st, 2nd and honorable mention so it's the same with just different wording

Ah okay. I was looking back at 2012 and ESPN didn't post the honorable mentions in the article they put up

You're right. 2 WR, 1 QB, and 2-3 OL still.

We may get someone on D, may not. Not feeling confident about it like our O and punting situation.
