Blakely is as good as advertized....would have run for at least 700 yds this season if he could have played....someone stole my thunder but he does look a lot like Shady McCoy when he's running the ball....
Yep, McCoy clone IMO. I think he's gonna be the real deal, I always thought he'd take over after Dyer, with or without TJ

The picture with the car isn't Yeldon

TJ Yeldon - five-star running back - has decommitted from Auburn and has switched his pledge to Alabama.

Ground breaking news right here.
I assure you that it hasn't been posted 18 other times.

I know, it's Travis Blanks.

Personally, I don't think its the end of the world to lose a running back. Alabama and Auburn are always going to have good running backs. Maybe I'm underestimating how good Yeldon is but I'd be more in meltdown mode over losing a 5 star type QB, or even an OT or a corner.
We could lose one of our 15 or 16 LB's and I'd be all right too

I'd rather have kept Cyrus K last year than TJY this year.

did Yeldon tell AU to FO? Just got on the net.

Yea we'll be fine at RB, especially if Dyer comes back and/or Robinson qualifies which I think he will but I really have no idea.
Posted on 12/18/11 at 8:18 pm to Crede15
It's just the situation we're in that scares me. Dyer might not be back, OMAC could be going PRO (though that wouldn't bother me as much), Robinson might not qualify, and the rest are unproven... With Yeldon I was assured we would have a great backfield even without Dyer/OMAC. Now, who knows.
I will be beyond pissed if we don't start Kiehl for the bowl game. Trotter and Moseley aren't taking us anywhere.

The problem with him waiting to the dead period is he has left Auburn out to dry in we can't start working on a replacement. That's what dissapoints me the most with how he did this. I think it was handled very poorly by him in that respect. No doubt this is a tough loss but frankly if Auburn doesn't get an offensive line it won't matter whose running the ball. If Auburn can replace him with a guy like Jordan Diamond then that might dull the blow
My real concern is his flip will lead to other flips like Holsey, Parks, and Williams. I think there's no shot now of us pulling Winston tho. Been a rough offseason but Auburn football will survive

Definitely. We don't know how good Cyrus is going to be but just assuming both guys are legit, an OT is more valuable.
RB's aren't a dime a dozen necessarily but a top left tackle is harder to find.

If he doesn't start the bowl game something is either terribly wrong with his ability and he was vastly overrated, or their is something wrong with the coaching staff.

I wondered how Dee Hart took this news? He was a higher rated player (#19 by Rivals) than Yeldon. One of those guys is going to be severely disappointed.

I have a feeling he is going to be pretty damn good.
Considering he was already the back-up LT and played a good amount of time this year for bama before getting injured.

O-MAC's family is very poor, and when he was being recruited he was quoted as saying he would probably leave after 3 years to help them out. It has nothing to do with him maybe thinking he's good enough to make an impact. He's a kick returner at best on the next level due to speed. That, and maybe he can come it on 3rd downs for a receiving threat out of the backfield.

He wouldn't go there to sit out a year. If anything, he transfers out of Division I and goes to a small college so he can go to the draft next year. He better get his fricking head on straight.
He could always make up some health related issue and move back to AR b/c of it. This always works

Yeldon will take over his spot. Mark my words. I don't think Dee Hart is a good fit in Bama's offense. I said that when he was recruited there, I'll say it now, and I'll say it when he gets jumped by Yeldon.
