Yeldon doesn't owe some Auburn beat reporter any explanation. What was he supposed to tell the reporter? "Yea I really can't decide right now. I might switch to Bama or I might not. Please publish that so my phone will ring off the hook all night."

Why am I mad? I wished him luck at Bama. He's a great running back.

What's amazing is I.haven't a doubt you believe this. Guess its true, ignorance is bliss.
Good luck to the kid.

I just wanted to add my two cents. I just got in, after being away from as much as a phone. I just saw the news 15 minutes ago.

Oh, okay. You're comment would've been perfect for auzach, as he said that TJ was paid and that he wasn't as good as Jovon Robinson in the first place...
I'm not going to say I'm not disappointed. If Dyer doesn't get his head on straight then we are certainly in trouble in the backfield. I don't care what anybody says, Blakely isn't going to bring the same punch at RB that Yeldon could bring and that Dyer brought (assuming he doesn't come back to Auburn). With our recent luck, Robinson won't even qualify, while OMAC goes pro and Dyer gets kicked out.

Why does he have to? He reminds me of LeSean McCoy, who seems to be doing pretty well considering he doesn't bring a "punch" running the ball

I don't even know what kind of back he is. The only highlight I've seen was him running around and past people. Is he a power back? Kind of lanky but I'm sure we can put some muscle on him.

I'm just not sold on him.
Hopefully he will prove me wrong...

Yeldon?
Very fast for his size, but he can lower his pads well and bring the boom. He's around 6'1 or 6'2 210 pounds, so he had plenty of room for muscle. By the time he's a sophomore, he'll be about as big as Lattimore, only he'll have better receiving skills and will be faster. He's the total package at RB. I wanted him bad.

What's the deal with Dyer? stAte bound?

Yeah, Yeldon.
Sounds good by the way
The highlight vid was impressive but it was all just jukes or just running by people so I wasn't sure. That and I barely paid attention to the Al/Miss all star game.

Which is why I compared the 2...
I think Yeldon is better coming out of high school than Lattimore was, in terms of being an all around better player. He might not be as powerful, but he's more elusive, faster, and has better ball skills. frick Bama for stealing him from us. frick them.

Calm down homie!! Dyer will be back, and Blakely is as good as advertized....would have run for at least 700 yds this season if he could have played....someone stole my thunder but he does look a lot like Shady McCoy when he's running the ball....

He wouldn't go there to sit out a year. If anything, he transfers out of Division I and goes to a small college so he can go to the draft next year. He better get his fricking head on straight.
