Would we have taken a commitment from Thomas, Gabe, Austin, and Mix early on? Sure we would. Did we "go after them"? No. I could go on about our OOS battles but this thread is beyond sucking hard.

As you should. I have said countless times how I think a few of your lower ranked players will be very good. Coaches can always trust early commits after watching the kids with their own eyes at camps. Can you build your team with these kids while not having a foundation of stars and beat anyone worth a shite? No.

If Bouldin gets included in this list, Mix and Thomas damn sure do as well...You couldn't have possibly gone any harder after Thomas than you tried to prior to his commitment.
This argument really doesn't even make sense... You didn't want #3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 in composite MS rankings, but you took #12, 15, 16, and 23?
Ultimately, you've got commitments right now from 3 total players that we recruited at all in this cycle - Bouldin, Buchanan, and Dodson.

I'm assuming that OM pulls the offer to the kid from Grenada. Im still shocked Freeze gave him an offer to begin with.

We have never seen Thomas. Didnt come to our camps. Mix looked like shite at our camps. It doesn't matter what they were ranked. And bullshite on Bouldin. Y'all went after him hard. He spoke about how hard y'all went after him once he committed to us. I have no idea where you get your information about us going after Jake, but aside from trying to get him to visit us, we didnt go after him hard. Once again for the 100th time I'm sure we would have taken committments from those players. Just like you would have taken a commitment from Davion Johnson. Did we "beat you out" for him just because we both offered him? No. We had the inside edge and got him to commit and shut down his recruitment. Same thing happened with Jake and to an extent Chris Jones.
Bouldin went to your camps and opened his recruitment to y'all. We beat you for him. Same with Ryan. If Z, Kailo and Shumpert commit to y'all then y'all beat us out for them because they all opened their recruitment to both schools and both schools want them all badly

I've never seen him play but unlike you I don't see 2 star and roll my eyes. Just like Dereck Jones and Bobby Hill, kid showed out at camp and earned an offer. Just like some of your early commits. I do think if there is anyone we let go for a spot it would be him but I don't know if Freeze will do that.

Conner is the only take of the 3 at this point for us. Dodson was always a backup plan to Kailo/Shumpert. One that I honestly disagreed with(Kailo anyway).
This is so ridiculous. You wouldn't take Cox? He opened his recruitment to you too. Visited several times. You can't say "oh we didn't bother recruiting them very hard" just because they commit to us and/or started leaning heavily to us. That is pretty Yancy of you, as is your entire point of view in this thread.

Pretty Ole Miss of you to flip your shite when I wasn't implying anything remotely like that, and frick you for trying to stereotype my opinion into some simpleminded bullshite. Your insecurity about it just became glaringly obvious though.
I think it's smart how as an institution you've gone after families to get the blue chips, not just other athletes, but mothers and others in positions of influence. I've said that many times. I've even taken up for you when "all the teammates" accusation comes up on Nkemdiche. But you know that already. Unlike some, I'm not insecure about saying that I think you've done a much better job of this overall than we have.
Except who sucked? Heard it all about Taveze Calhoun and Market - both freshmen - who were excellent for us in limited snaps and in special teams play.
