I can't decide which recruit will be this year's Dee Liner, TJ Yeldon, Reuben Foster, Brent Calloway, or Cyrus Kouandjio. Roc Thomas or Tre Williams? Possibly both?

Guess we will see.

Does there have to be one every year?? Maybe Gus'll break through those chains this year.

I guess small victories are still victories.

He's been teasing a commitment since last September, so I'm not sure I believe everything he says.

He's got a good relationship with EJ Moss, who were suppose to be committing at the same time at one point. The key to Moss is a shot at QB, and both school are telling him they'll give him a shot, but are recruiting him as an athlete. Moss wants to commit on his late dad's birthday, which is some time in April. Though, like Roc, has been saying he was gonna commit like 3-4 times before that.

I will make sure to avoid that this year. I have cursed us in the past.

The playing time thing seems to be getting to him. I think Moss will pick Bama over Auburn though so we'll have to see how that goes.

With our stable of RBs, I doubt Roc would ever see the field.

One of his coaches has been pretty persistent in telling him the differences between Bama's and Auburn's depth at RB.

This was before he was even hired.

October 2nd:

quote:

“My coaches tell me about that, but it doesn’t bother me at all,” he said of the amount of players at his position at Alabama. “It doesn’t affect my decision, at the end of the day I’m going to go where I want to go.”

I really don't understand how recruits can buy that whole "playing time" argument. TJ Yeldon and Ameri Cooper were true freshmen that stepped in and played right away at Alabama.

Lot more competition next year at rb than last year. Throw in the two rbs there plus the 4 signees and Bo already committed, it's a little different than what Yeldon was walking in to.

Plus Bama had several injuries at the RB position, didn't they?

my advice... don't buy the hype... odds are he still ends up at Alabama, when it's all said and done.
