Cooper is the only one that's proven and calling him one of the best in the country is a stretch. So far he's only shone that he's a deep threat, it takes more than that to be one of the best. Jones isn't very good either, he's nowhere near proven. Norwood and Bell are good receivers butt but nothing more than servicible 50 catches a year guys. Bama's group is above average but not one of the best.

Who would be your Top 5 receiving corps in college football then?

Cooper is much more than a deep threat, but whatever.

I'd agree with that. Cooper was extremely polished to be a true freshman and will only get better. I'm anxious to see Black and Foster this year, too. Should be a very deep WR corps.

Yeah...I was going to address that but I just figured that since he was an AU fan he didn't watch Cooper and the numerous screens, hitches, and curls he turned into big gains last year.

He had a comeback route that he ran in the NCG that was boner inducing.

I will agree with this but I just think u guys overhyped your receiving corp that hasn't proved much outside if Cooper. But whatever. I'll guess have to wait to wait and see.

It is a fact Bama knows Jack better than most.

I haven't seen anyone overhype our receiving corp in this thread.

Nobody is saying that all the WR are on the same level with Cooper, but there aren't very many SEC teams with a receiver like Cooper yet. I still believe Jones, Norwood, Bell, and White could start for a lot of teams in the country. Shinn, Foster, and Black all have the potential to be good receivers as well.

Please tell me what team in the country has better depth at receiver than Alabama.

Clemson. Almost identical except their number 1 is better than y'all's #1.

I would take Clemson and USC over Alabama in terms if wide receivers for sure.

Hopkins and Brown will not be back next year. I'll say Watkins and Cooper are a wash. I think Watkins is faster but Cooper has better body control and he appears to be more mature mentally. Bryant and Humphries are the next best receivers returning after Watkins. I put those two where Christian Jones is in terms of production, though I think Bryant might turn out to be a very good one. Still his potential is right there with Marvin Shinn.

That still leaves Kenny Bell and Norwood who both have better numbers than Watkins and Humphries. That also still leaves DeAndrew White a player whom Clemson doesn't have to match in terms of rating and starting potential

That also still leaves guys who were rated very highly out high school in Robert Foster and Chris Black who also Clemson cannot match.

Then you add the fact that Alabama faced tougher defenses and they passed the ball less. Dude it's not even close.

I think USC has the best duo with Woods and Lee, but we are talking about the entire corps.

I can't argue this further cuz I'm not a Clemson fan. I'm just arguing the points I know as a casual fan. How bout u go ask a Clemson fan and they'll list many facts that make their receivers better than yours. You think your guys are better they'll think their's are betterPoint being this is all speculation and I'm gonna stand behind my claim that Clemson, and Washington, and possibly TAMU have better corps than Bama.

ETA: I thought Woods was gone wasn't for sure though.
