I can't argue this further cuz I'm not a Clemson fan. I'm just arguing the points I know as a casual fan. How bout u go ask a Clemson fan and they'll list many facts that make their receivers better than yours.

You
think your guys are better they'll think their's are betterPoint being this is all speculation and I'm gonna stand behind my claim that Clemson, and Washington, and possibly TAMU have better corps than Bama.

There's no need to ask a Clemson fan because a Clemson fan didn't make the claim. You did. You could have started your original post by saying you were a casual fan and really didn't know much about Clemson's receivers, but you think they might have overall better depth. I think that would have saved us both some time.

Clemson. Almost identical except their number 1 is better than y'all's #1.

While Watkins and Cooper are comparable, they have a significant drop off in talent when compared to Alabama's remaining wide receivers.

Vanderbilt has a better duo of wide receivers than Clemson and Washington both.

I thought for some reason I could sway your opinion but now its apparent I can't, but alright, I wouldn't expect anything different from a Bama fan. Cheers to u my friend for being a halfway decent Bama poster.

I think USC has the best duo with Woods and Lee, but we are talking about the entire corps.
I'm not even considering Robert Woods right now with him on the way to the NFL.

Marquis Lee, George Farmer, and Nelson Agholor are complete studs, and then you can mix in the rest of the depth chart.

USC has recruited wide receivers better than anyone recently. Remember, they don't even have Markeith Ambles and Kyle Prater anymore. Both of which were 5 stars.

FIFY.

Christion Jones has better stats from the '12 season as Bama's 4th WR than Farmer and Agholor combined career wise. Both Jones and Farmer are true sophomores.

Not sure I'd call them studs just because they were ranked highly out of HS, because they sure haven't done anything notable in college. Farmer especially, since he has rarely been healthy enough to suit up on game day.

Numbers are pointless when we're tlking about backups. The number of oppurtunities is all over the place and their just not consistent enough. Christion Jones hasn't impressed me at all. He's like Bama's Trovon Reed. He has talent he just under performs. His hands and route running skills are lacking and all the USC receivers listed are better receivers regardless of the stats.

So your argument is that Lee-Agholor-Farmer > Cooper-Norwood-Bell-Jones-White?

USC has the best returning WR in the country but I think most reasonable people would agree that Bama has the better overall returning unit.

They've got more behind those three though just like Bama has more behind cooper, bell, and, Norwood,. But the specific argument I made in my last post is that the USC backups are better than Jones.

What backups specifically from USC are better than Jones? Aguolor and? Agholor will be USCs #2 next year whereas Jones will be Bama's 4 or 5

So because they don't get playing time, but were ranked high by "scouts", they are a better unit?

Alrighty then

Let me know when Farmer decides to break 10 career catches, maybe he'll get there in his 3rd year. That is if you even keep up with it, being a "casual fan" and all. That alone should say you don't have a good idea of what you're posting. You don't care enough to go look...

It's easy to talk about potential all day long and what a player was rated coming out of high school, but at the end of the day you have to look at what these guys have done on the field.

Alabama's receivers have performed much better than the receivers USC has returning.

Ok Mag has CLEARLY explained about the USCw corps and how none have contributed that are returning

You posted this on pg 3

quote:

Woah killer. U are too hyped about that. How can u say that a player that's never played in a game is an elite receiver?

It is no different for USC

So to sum this up, Bama already has a better returning corps, has a top 10 WR from last year who was hurt before the season began, and signed the top WR in this past class.

I would say we have a case for being the best WR group

Again all of this is speculation and the only reason y'all won't back off is cuz Bama's backups have better numbers, but with less opportunities considering they were playing beside marquise lee and Robert woods with Matt barkely, a terrible decision maker at QB. I'm standing by my statement that Bama doesn't have the best receiving corps until they prove to me otherwise. But anyways thanks for the spike in my post numbers. I won't be a newb for much longer.
