If LF went to Bama, I would really start to question Les Miles.

Agreed.

He's got a machine working right now. It's unreal really.

So that's the line you're drawing?

Well considering LSU has been one of the premier programs with him at the helm. Why not?

I wouldn't blame Miles... Saban can just talk about how many players he's put in the league and then show a HS kis 3 glass footballs... That's hard to beat out, even with your instate kids.

Then we can show those player's track record in the NFL vs Ridley's. especially that sorry excuse for a RB, Ingram.

is that he should worry about miles on his legs if he goes to a program that doesn't have other good backs

Ya know Louisiana is producing a pretty good bunch of backs in 2015 too. None of them are as good as LF but Derrius Guici and Nic Brossette are definitely not chopped liver. Believe me, quality back ups won't be something he'll have to worry about at LSU.

Miles put all eggs in the Leonard Fournette basket pretty much. We took 0 RBs turning away a really good one last year in Adam Taylor because Miles wanted to show Fournette was THE absolute priority to come in, and be the man right away.

I'm really not worried about Fournette though. Miles wouldn't pull something this unless he knows he has this in the bag. Plus, we hear stories all the time of Fournette dropping left and right to folks he will be at LSU. Unless Miles completely f'ed up, and Fournette is trolling the entire state by what he says, then he should be at LSU.

This may end up being the case, but this same line was repeated over and over with Landon collins

Nah. Most people thought it was Bama until he started tweeting about repping the boot and telling some of his LSU friends he was going there.

Miles has never put too much on one back. Both Ridley and Scott averaged 15-20 carries per game, put up really good numbers, and never had knee problems.

Y'all are acting like all of our backs will declare next year and that we won't recruit anybody to backup LF. Both assumptions are wrong.

It's going to be a long year.

Are you are arguing that Ingram hasn't been a pretty big letdown in his time in NO? Cause I'm still pretty pissed we let Ivory go but kept fricking Ingram.

I think he is just saying that a recruiting pitch that includes:

"We have had better players that got drafted two rounds later than lesser talented Bama players"

Is not a very good pitch.

No. I was laughing that an LSU fan was using Ridley as an argument. Ingram does suck in the league though.

I'm not even trying. This place has gone to hell. There is no point in trying to correct it. Trash it and just start over.

Most experts think Richardson is going to be a top 5 RB this upcoming season.

Ingram's in a mess with the Saints. Makes me want to change who I cheer for in the NFL.

Lacy hasn't played a down yet, so hard to judge him.
