So is no one going to give a reasonable explanation as to why Eddie Lacy is the benchmark for comparison? Are we not trying to compare RBs at the same time in their career? If we are, I don't see where Eddie Lacy enters the discussion at all.

Because he's the last great RB to come out of LA.

So is this thread fantasy or revisionist history? Because what you're saying is pure fiction.

Who was the last RB out of LA to be the top RB picked in the draft?

Did I sleep through the draft?

You're comparison doesn't make sense. Lacy was not the best RB in his class after his junior year of high school and Fournette is not entering the 2013 NFL draft.

Either we're comparing them at similar stages of their career, or we're projecting what we think Fournette will do. If we're comparing them at similar stages of their career, Eddie Lacy doesn't even enter the conversation.

Isn't that what Bama fans have been bitching about LSU fans doing all this time now? Seems to me that you are intentionally setting this thread up to be nothing but a flame war. That is against the rules of this board. Take your dumb shite elsewhere.

And I believe there's already a flame thread right below this one. I fail to see why he started a new one. Must be low on substance in the noggin.

So, do you think he will be as good as Lacy?

As I said earlier - that thread is labeled for LSU fans. This one is for anyone who lives in LA.

Because it was clearly just LSU fans in there. The thread was already ruined. Go in there and cry, don't take up unnecessary space.

Another good reason to start this one.

I don't have a crystal ball, there is no way to know the answer to your bullshite question.

At this point in his career, Fournette is a much better running back than Lacy was.

I see your point. I agree, however, please show me the list of blue chips that left LA before 1999 in comparison to how many stayed in LA. And you researched this before posting, since you don't remember?

Recruiting is all about projecting how good a player will be, not how great they were in HS.
