Is Fournette the best RB to come out of LA since Lacy?

Kid's film is really impressive.
Although he says publicly that he has no leader, I assume he leans in-state. I wonder if Bama is trying to sell him by showing him old TD posts from last year where people said LSU had five more talented RBs than Lacy but as it turns out Lacy will be the first back drafted.

Well that's a lot of pressure to put on the kid. People forget how good Lacy was in high school.

Bama goes after the best players. If they happen to be from Louisiana, then we'll go after a kid from Louisiana. Don't flatter yourself. We've won 3/4

If not for Saban creating ties while at LSU Bama wouldn't be sniffing these LA kids, don't flatter yourself.

If not for Saban coaching at LSU, LSU wouldn't be sniffing these LA kids either.
All of the blue chippers were leaving the state before he got there.

I like Lacy a lot and did in hs but I personally think Jeremy Hill is a better RB prospect both out of HS and as a college player. Obviously Jeremy is slightly below Eddie currently but he's only a sophomore and will continue to blossom.
Regardless to answer the OP's question, Fournette is probably the best to come out of LA since ever and that's saying something considering the talent that has come from LA at RB including my personal current best of all time from the state, Cecil Collins. He is a criminal and never lived up to his talent because of it but that kid was as good as it gets talent wise.

Is this the same Lacy that couldn't spell his name right?

LSU Fans last year : "Guys, Hilliard is better than Trent Richardson. Trust us on this one we know our stuff."

If Lacy wouldn't have "magically" became eligible, he may have been a Tiger
Having said this, he's a good back that will hopefully be better than Ingram (or as good as TR)
LF has yet to step on a College Campus but he appears to be a really good one.

No different than Bama fans last season saying " AJ McCarron is a better QB than Tom Brady and Drew Brees because he threw less interceptions."
