I'm still trying to figure out why Lacy is the benchmark for comparison here.

Born in 1987? You were 12 when he took over. You don't remember this.

I don't remember the Civil War or World War II either but I'm sure I know more about those two subjects than you do.

What does age have to do with knowledge, especially when what you are looking for is readily available at your fingertips in this day and age?

I'm still trying to figure out why it's not a compliment.

What more half way realistic expectations can you have for a junior in high school than possibly being the number one RB taken in the NFL draft?

Who was the last RB out of Louisiana to be the first at his position taken in the NFL draft?

Y'all are fricking ridiculous with this he's going to be the best RB the world has ever seen bullshite. He's incredible, but really, how much pressure can u put on this KID?

Watched both links. Hills first five highlights were 4 TD on 40+ yards . Lacey's first five had one touchdown on a pass play where he burned a linebacker.

Watch Lacy's at the 6:12 mark and you will see why he is better.

It was obvious hyperbole. Don't lose your mind.

The fact remains that his hype has been shot through the goddamn roof and it will be extremely difficult to live up the expectations that were put on him as a Junior in High School.

Now, why is it an insult to be a highschooler compared to the number one RB in the draft again?

Exactly. Just wanted to know if people thought he could be as good as Lacy (which I thought was a compliment - he's the #1 back in the draft!!).

Why is the OP's intent behind this thread and why is it not in the other Fournette thread? That's why you're getting dipshit responses.

There are more bama fans whining about LFs hype than there are LSU fans overhyping LF.

no, there is no way that LF could ever be as good as Lacy. Lacy is just the mecca of RBs.

That thread is labeled for LSU fans. This one is for anyone who lives in LA.

In a very weak draft for RBs.

Not disagreeing, but when was the last "strong" draft for RBs.
