Eason AJC article

I'll just leave this here and let you assume he's a guaranteed flip since trolling has been your thing for a while now. If he does flip, then so be it but I'm very confident he's all Dawg and has been for a long time.

Sounds good for UGA. Dont see why he would go to Athens this weekend to tell all those guys he has been so close with that he isn't coming. We will see what Mac and Nuss can do in home tonight. Would have been good to get him because we need some competition at the qb position. Franks should be great for us, just not as polished as Eason at this time.

Either way he seems like a good kid who handled this thing well. Maybe he can be the next Stafford at UGA.

It would really make for some good rivalry games if he sees all his committed buddies this weekend in Athens and then flips. Even if he does it for the right reasons, I doubt the UGA guys would forget it anytime soon.

I saw that Nuss visited with Haskins this week already. It looks like y'all might be going after 3 QBs whether Eason flips or not.

Don't think ya'll have much to worry about. He's been committed to UGA for a long time. It's always fun to see ya'll sweat a little though.

Yeah, this seems to be the general vibe. If Florida were to miss on Eason and Haskins, I think they're still happy with landing Franks and Trask. They may not have found an immediate option for next year, but Franks is a guy that they could mold into a very good quarterback.

I honestly think that Haskins will probably stick to Maryland, even through their coaching changes. Maryland kids are hard to get and I feel like he's pretty set on going there.

All of that being said, I still think that Eason will flip to Florida. If he doesn't reaffirm his commitment while in Athens and an offensive coordinator still hasn't been named by this weekend, then I don't have any doubt that he'll flip. And honestly, who could blame him? This is his future and there's a ton of uncertainty about who is going to be coaching him for the next 3-4 years.

He doesn't know the offensive coordinator, the quarterback coach, nobody on the offensive staff is guaranteed to be there in the future. And chances are that the OC that Georgia hires (especially if he's from a school like Western Kentucky) is someone Eason has never met before.

You realize Eason committed to play at the University of Georgia and not the University of Mark Richts and Schottenheimers right? If he hadn't been to Athens so many times and built relationships with a lot of the other commitments and had visits from UGA fans in Washington state, I'd think UF was in it but he's just been focused on us for too long.

Then again, so was Laremy Tunsil however Eason doesn't have a "precious" type of girlfriend that you guys can offer a spot in your athletic department.

UW is a dark horse in this race. He's taking an official visit starting today and he attended almost every home game this year on unofficial visits.

Still think it's between Georgia and Florida (Georgia will be the choice IMO), but it also wouldn't shock me if he avoids that madness surrounding him down south and stays home.

IDK, but it would be pretty funny if Eason goes to Uga and we got Haskins along with Franks. I think LSU could have had both of them at one time.

Certainly hope if not UGA, Udub.

Eason has handled this about as well as you can. Cant blame the kid for looking around after losing Richt AND Bobo.

Might just be taking this last chance to sample the ladies at these other schools' expense.

His repeated desire to play in the SEC leads me to believe the Washington visit won't amount to much.

Mac and Nuss are meeting the family in New York tomorrow night

I'm pretty optimistic that we get him regardless of the OC hire at Georgia because of the Eason's relationship with Nuss
