A reputed insider on UGA's 247 board (Lowndes) just posted that the plan right now is for Eason to sign with UGA, but he needs to have a good visit and we need a good OC hire to hold on.
So pretty much what most people thought.

What evidence? Eason said he would decide next week. Eason has a visit with Mac and Nuss and then a visit to UGA.

Lowndes has been dropping info for over a decade. Like I said, if it comes from Lowndes you can take it to the bank.

to be a bit of a contrarian here, he didn't say anythign that isn't universally known already.
Eason is coming here unless we totally botch the OC hire. We don't currently have an OC. If we get a good one, we get eason. Pretty simple.

I disagree, UF fans are convinced that he already flipped on his visit. He said as of today, Eason will sign with UGA so unless something changes and or we make a poor hire etc. He still intends to sign with UGA at this time.

He is too much of a lush to be our next great QB. How are we gonna make a statue of him next to the other 3 virtuous QB we have had win the heisman trophy. It just qwouldn;'t look right. Spurrier, Wuerfful, Tebow, Eason? Nah.
