Nope. I'll be butthurt about it. And you'll still make stupid comments. Nothing will really change.

We shouldn't be butthurt about it. We all saw it coming.

Re-read the last few posts. I don't care about Akers. That one is easily the least stinging decommitment in recent days. I've been saying he's going to OM for a couple months now. I'm "butthurt" over the use of the word "salty". Which is ironic, I know. Just a dumb term. Revert back to using "butthurt". It sounds much more effective.

I mean in general, man. Don't fret over it. Alabama is going to be all right in the end.

How in the world can anyone think that butthurt sounds better than salty?

Apparently, Rivals put up a story about Akers flipping to Georgia and then quickly took it down. TIFWF.

Pretty sure it was a mistake, Akers also refuted. Doesn't mean we're not a strong contender, but it seems like it was outright misreported.

OSU was in the running for him, but I'd imagine with the commit from Dobbins yesterday, they won't be as high on the list. Granted a commit is so early now you have to recruit all kids til the end and see how it all shakes out

I know the Ole Miss folks think he's a lock but UGA is certainly in the mix because of his relationship with Kirby, the dawgs have probably pulled even with Auburn and TOSU for Trey Sermon to boot. UGA was the favorite for the top specialty back in the land Anthony Macfarland before Richt was canned, not quite sure where we stand with the young man now.

Visited OSU earlier this week, and insiders think there is a good chance if OSU wants him they can get him. However, they already have 2 top 20 backs committed (For whatever that is worth in 2016). However, the one they got last week may not be a strict RB and may do a lot of stuff in the slot as well.

The thinking here seems to be Ole Miss' to lose?

Not to be a dick, but has OSU ever felt like they can't have a player if they want him?

Absolutely. The ones that come up to me off the top of my head are D. Watson for Clemson, The QB who went to Tennessee last year out of Jersey, Gary among others. OSU does get top 5 classes most years so they have some "options" most year. They lost out on some of their top DB targets last year too

Has Akers explicitly stated he has a relationship with Smart? Because Bo Davis recruits Mississippi for Alabama, and Burton Burton Burns is the position coach. Smart would have had less contact with Smart being the DC at Alabama when Akers committed.

It just seems people tried to connect dots because Fromm and Akers decommited the same day.

Fromm and Akers aren't connected. The UGA connection came because he decommitted right after a UGA visit. I'm not sure if anyone actually knows if the two things are connected, but they might be leaning that way because UGA is usually impressive to RB recruits.
