You can't official to Hawaii unless you are committed there.

I guess we'll just have to settle for the #1 running back and #1 overall prospect Najee Harris instead of both the #1 and #2 running backs. That and the #3 running back in the country from the just completed signing class. We're screwed.

I totally agree with taking some visits if you want the experience even if you know where you want to go. You can't hold that against a kid. But also some of these kids just might not enjoy the recuriting process dragging out so they shut it down.

These kids should do whatever they want. It might drive some of us and media guys crazy but it's their lives to enjoy.

Not salty at all actually ;)

I'm frankly suprised we keep getting as many commitments from 5 star running backs as we do. With who is already on the team, the running back we just signed, and the #1 running back already committed it makes a lot of sense for Cam Akers to keep his options open and go to a school that isn't already stacked at running back.

They should just host their unofficials in Grand Isle, LA. It's basically the same thing.

Nothing to see here. Alabama has plenty of time to find a replacement.

Brian Robinson goes to the school I graduated from. I've seen him a couple of times the last couple of years, first time being when he was a sophomore and went for 150. While I don't think he's on the level of Akers, he's a damn good back who isn't getting near enough love.

quote:

Robinson rushed for 447 yards on 29 carries and four touchdowns to set a Class 6A single-game rushing record. The previous record was set in 2013 by Roc Thomas (424 yards).

Highlights from that game

I hope we hold on to Harris, but losing Akers isn't the end of the world for our 2017 RB class.

Akers sucks, but not a huge deal. I figured someone was going to decommitt out of the 3rbs we had committed. I figured it was going to be Akers with him being from landmass.

If Harris decommits, that would cause a melt.

Hell, I'm actually more pissed about losing the kicker. We lose the Pollack after this year, so we need good competition for his replacement.

I meant losing Akers sucks.

I'm tired and hungover. He's obviously good, being a top 3 back.

losing the kicker

This one was a surprise that he ever committed to Bama to begin with... PWO instate with free tuition thanks to the HOPE, or PWO out of state, pay your own way. Just seemed silly, particularly given UGA's lack of depth at kicker.

The "salty" thing needs to just end now before it really take hold. That's one of the dumbest phrases I've heard in pop culture in a while, and that says a mouthful.

As overused as "butthurt" is (and I can't say much, as I use it), it still sounds 100 times more effective than telling someone they're being "salty" about it.
