Three in two days and a five star basketball player on Tuesday.

I agree. Tough week, but we'll replace the 4* football players with other 4* football players. Happened last year and will happen in 2018. The new norm.
But no way we replace Ferguson with an equal talent. That one stings.

No one is more connected to the UGA program than Rusty and Kipp. It’s a very good sign they would submit a CB for Akers this early.

I largely stopped paying attention to football recruiting for this reason. It's pretty much a given that Alabama will fill its spots with elite prospects. I use to pay way more attention to recruiting pre-Saban/first couple of years of Saban.

Yep, basketball is a whole different story. Unfortunately Bama bball can't miss on an elite guy and expect another elite guy to take his spot. Ferguson hurt bad.

Not good but like others have said I can't muster much disappointment in 2017 recruits de-committing at thus stage knowing what we've got now and how strong we are in recruiting. I'm way more butthurt about the last week and a half of Alabama basketball and losing Ferguson. These two football recruits while elite don't even register compared to Ferguson for me.

TheNetwork has been working on it. I think he ends up at OM. Even though I think they will lose 32 scholarships, bowl ban and show cause for freeze.
