His real mom from Pennsylvania? He has a step-mom that lives in Georgia that has visited for sure, I'm not sure about the real mom that's why I ask?

Wrong, Fields has only been with his dad on his trips, per SEC Country

SEC Country spoke with reporters from Auburn, Florida State and Georgia, and to their knowledge, Fields has not visited those schools with any family members other than his father, Ivant Fields. On May 6th, Fields visited UF with 6 of his family members, including his father and step-Mother. Now he's back in Gainesville with just his mother.

Until I see a picture of Fields at the Gainesville airport with the "committed" folder in his hands, a la Eason last year...I don't believe he is a Gator

They let his sister commit to Georgia without the parents having seen the place?

That still doesn't refute that the family didn't go with him on his parade of visits last week

I'm not saying that this means he's going to Florida I'm just telling you what SEC Country reported. No harm no foul

Fields is on campus as the 17 class is showing up. A bunch of excited new Gators right now. Perfect timing for a visit.

I have a hard time seeing it, but a few seem confident he's a Dawg. Either way, I like the kid. Amazing talent.

I agree about the amazing talent and impressive kid.

I just simply do not buy that he'd go into the QB situation they have at UGA. It would be an incredible recruiting job by Kirby if y'all landed him. I just can't see it.

That looked like a S. Carolina insider, not UGA.

That was from a USC insider, not USCe.

I don't either. At all.
But the chatter is really loud.

How much have y'all been on Corral?

UGA's QB situation is actually appealing if Fields thinks he can beat out Fromm. We'll only have 2 on scholarship when he would get to UGA.

ETA: Per UF 247 Stampini, Fields' mom lives outside Atlanta, not in PA

Haven't offered him a scholarship, as far as I know.

Fields is the only guy we're after. If we miss on him, I think we go back and try to flip Joe Milton from Michigan or Jarren Williams from Kentucky, and maybe even that Corral guy.

I think we're pretty much all in on recruiting Fields.

A Florida "insider" went on the Chuck Oliver Show yesterday and said that from everything he's been hearing, he thinks it's a Florida-Auburn battle, Jimbo and Fields didn't hit it off, and he doesn't think UGA will land him. He said that he thinks it's significant that the mom went to his UF visit with him, but who knows, we'll see.

Rusty Mansell put a CB in this morning for Fields to UGA

Just FYI, that CB is one of the most trusted in the industry as far as predictions goes.

Fields appears to be a dawg. And having a dual threat, change of pace QB to compliment pocket passers Eason and Fromm is a great situation.

Shockley and Greene were the perfect example. Fromm and Fields could be v2.0
