From Kennesaw, GA

Florida is the crystal ball favorite

Florida, FSU, Auburn, and UGA are the major factors in his recruitment

I doubt LSU gets him, but it has been reported that it's Justin Fields or we don't take a quarterback in this class. As of now it seems like if we wanted to get in this we have ground to cover.

I can't imagine LSU not taking a QB.

The team I coach played against him last year, and we will again this year. This kid is as real as it gets. I couldn't believe PSU held onto him as long as they did. He looks like he just glides across the field when he tucks it down to run, and he can make any throw.

So if he can make "any throw", does that mean he can make the throws Aaron Rodgers does?

I agree but with Brennan/Narcisse coming in this year and Scott/McMillan we are very young at QB. Brennan or Narcisse would have to bust for a 2018 recruit to come in and get time early.

I feel good about AU's chances with his relationship Lindsey and Cam, but UFs depth chart could be a big factor. I don't think UGA will be in it in the end since they are deep at QB, and Chaney could very well be gone after this season.

You have 5 star heart.

At this point I would be surprised if it is not UF. A lot can change between now and NSD though.

You'd be surprised? Based on what exactly? I won't be surprised if he lands at any of those 4 teams.

You heard it here first - Brennan and Narcisse will both be a bust. (just ignore the bitterness from Narcisse decommitting from Auburn then almost recommitting again ;/ )

If I had to handicap it I would say
UF - 50%
AU - 22.5%
FSU - 22.5%
UGA - 5%

Should be noted that I am a pessimist and have no inside information.

Hell, getting rid of Chaney may help the Dawgs out.

UGA has some cards to play, the biggest one being selling his family on going to the same school as his sister (committed to UGA for softball) close to home.

He's also different than any QB UGA has on campus, and there's no reason he wouldn't get a shot at beating out Jake Fromm.

All of the UF recruiting writers are in consensus and confident that Fields would be in this class prior to Fields decommit.

UF has passed on several commitments at QB, so UF coaches are confident we are getting Fields.

I think Florida would be the big favorite if it wasn't 5+ hours away. Given that he decommitted from PSU due largely to distance from home, that complicates it.

Dude, the distance from Gainesville to Kennesaw is NOTHING compared to the distance from Kennesaw to Happy Valley.

If he doesn't choose Florida, it's not because of the distance.

I think he ends up at Florida but I'm biased.

No, but it's a lot further than Athens or Auburn.

It easily could be a factor, especially for his parents with another child playing a college sport.
