Fields would destroy Willis. That is no competition.

Malik is crushing it at AU, may even be the true backup if Stidham goes down. I don't think anyone, even the coaches expected this, but at this point, I think that missing on Fields but having Malik and landing Bo Nix in 2019 may just be a wash.

Has he been crushing it against the first team?

He has played extremely well all spring and fall camp, whether that be against 1st, 2nd or 3rd team (he has played against all). He is an athlete so his speed and agility were not a surprise - his ability to pick up the offense, read defense and accuracy/touch have blown coaches and personnel away. This is first hand info. If Stidham goes down, Malik's redshirt will likely come off because he has the best chance of taking the offense to the next level.

Fields may win the Heisman and as of now has mucb more upside - but Malik has been playing college ball and has been impressing beyond anyone's expectations

Went to the scrimmage on Saturday, MW has a quick release and he can spin it. Fields is a special player and of course we want him. He has a chance to be one of the best, but Auburn is not a favorite to land him. I hope Fields selects FSU because he would be a beast at UGA.

Yes.

Typically the backup QBs and 2nd team offense are going against first team D (for at least half of the scrimmages).

1v1 scrimmages half typically been about half of each scrimmage, at most.

Because Jim Chaney (Pro style and a shaky one at that) has proven he can develop a dual action QB (he hasn't) better than Jimbo Fisher who is known for that?

This baffles me. If Fields values going to the league as a developed product he'd better go to FSU where they already run an offense to feature his abilities rather than going to UGA where you then have to trust Jim Chaney (lord help him) to come up with a whole new offensive philosophy to tailor. That's a huge risk. Kirby is a defensive coach, so it's literally in Jim Chaney's hands. I'm still shocked that UGA is even in the conversation with Jimbo Fisher there to get this kid ready which as a dual action QB would have to be cream of the crop.

You're right. He should go to tech, he would strive there.

Both are pro-style offenses. Chaney has a pretty proven history of adapting offensive styles.

New rule: if you don't know basic football terms, get off the football boards.

I bet you think the jimbo qbs have a long history of tons of run success.

If that is true Kirby could pull 3 straight top 5 classes, not to mention a game changer QB

Chaney has absolutely no idea how to maximize a kid like Fields talents or at least has never shown it.

Fields may very well go to UGA, but these kind of posts are my favorite kind of stupid.

Once we beat Clemson Fields will see the light and know he is destined to be the next Cam Newton.
