By far for me is the PA announcer trying to get the crowd to yell ROLL TIDE after every first down.

Back in '05, some sponsor (Corner Pantry?) started handing out these pull-out billboard things that looked like this:

But had "Cock N Fire" on one side, and a new, stupid looking Carolina logo on the other.

Those banners, that new logo and the Cock N Fire nickname were all stupid. Thankfully, they stopped handing out those things before the end of the season.

It just came off as a cheap copycat ploy of the Swamp. At least to me.

um..... that's pretty much a thing now. Even away now too. Heck, watch the replay of the 2012BCS. Every time the announcer said, "first down, Alabama" the entire UA section gave a Roll Tide.

It would sound cool if everyone did it

no it wouldnt. waste of cheer effort to do that after every first down. it sounds stupid when Texans fans yell Go Texans after every 1st down. Case closed.

Every other team's traditions are stupid and Alabama's are cool*. So there.

I do get annoyed when one half of the stadium is one "HEY AUBURN!" (or whoever) ahead of the other half during Rammer Jammer.

*May not be true.

Nothing should beat "the south will rise again" bullshite some of our dumbass students tried to start. It was so bad the school had to kill one of our oldest traditions to stop it and the KKK showed up to support it.

What's sad is that the KKK showed up and started chanting it... and you STILL have motherfrickers who will do it in the Grove when they play FDWL from their speakers.
