on a work trip to Ponte Vedra my manager lined up a round of golf for me with his father at Saltgrass CC. I showed up and the dad said he couldn't play but he paired me with another member named Dave Campo. Chatted the entire round about everything other than football and afterwards exchanged card...

I was on 2 flights between Houston and B'ham w/ Robert Horry. My then 4 year old exchanged a Roll Tide w/ him.
On the return flight back to Houston he sat a couple rows behind me and a lady sitting next to him asked him what he did for a living. When he said he used to play basketball she ask...

guys trip to RTJ in Huntsville (Hampton Cove) and after the round we were in the bar going over scorecards.
went up to the bar to get beers and asked the girl bartending for a cold mug. she said they didnt...

I'm shocked Tim Tebow wasnt mentioned by any Bama fan. It was between us and UF and he stayed home. Called Shula crying to tell him he was picking the Gators. Would have been interesting to see how he would have shaped Bama's history given Shula was fired after Tim's freshman year and we got Saba...
