We did that with "We Are - Carolina". It was painfully obvious what we were trying to do, especially since I'm pretty sure this was in 2007 where we played UNC that year.

The male cheerleader with the mic leading a roll tide after every first down. They started that when I was a student in 2007/2008. I hated it.

The male cheerleader pre game on the microphone. Outside of cool jumbotron videos Alabama has no pregame traditions and it probably needs to stay that way.

Don't talk shite about Track 'Em. You can trash two bits and Bodda Getta all day, but Track 'Em? Thems fighting words.

I think most schools tried the "we are" chant after the movie "we are Marshall" came out.

We keep trying to push the phrase "The Zou", and it is really corny.

That guy on the sidelines in an all Carolina tuxedo w/ like a football cut in half on his head and sparkly pants... Jesus Christ.
He had a mic, too, and led cheers. The humanity.

One year, he got so excited about yelling into that microphone that he popped a boner, standing there on a platform, in polyester trousers and in plain view of 20,000 students.
