And FWIW one thing Sherrill did come up with that was outstanding but is a shell of its former self was the 12th man kickoff team.

I understand why it was mostly shelved, but that was a stroke of genius from him.

You could show them a Whopper wrapper and they'd get wet.

No, I like women, but I won't judge you for being one.

You object to the practice or are you even older than this old fart and from a time when Aggies booed? I'd guess that would make you... what? Class of 1920?

I was there for that game. Jesus, what an embarrassment. Too bad USCw still can't claim a W since their RB was being paid as much as their TE coach.

Not sure if you'd call it a tradition but the Alabama strength coach Cochran or whomever and that dumb arse hollering on the jumbo trons is the most annoying and cheesy crap I've witnessed in an SEC stadium. I almost left BDS during the epic 2011 game because i couldn't stand it

I'd have to say the Alabama cheer, When one side of the stadium says "Ala", and the other side says "Bama" and then there is a long ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLL

TIDE ROLL." Everyone never knows when to come in on the second part, so it's never together and sounds awful. fricking annoying.

When Ed Orgeron was head coach, there was a season where the team was led onto the field by a chopper motorcycle.

No shite. You're a visitor from a fan base that hates Alabama, Saban, Cochran, etc. It's not designed for you to like it.

Yeah, I remember my first Iron Bowl in Bryany-Denny (2006). When they started the "I want this side to be Ala and this side to be Bama" cheer, I remember thinking, "WTF, they just split a word in half???"

Also, "It's great to be from Alabama" sucked as well. Just seemed like a lame attempt to have a Bama version of the "It's Great" cheer. Everyone around me in the AU Band was like, "Yeah, I'm from Alabama too. So what?"

Alabama tried to start a tradition of losing from 1997-2006. Wasn't very popular, so they ditched it.

Nothing should beat "the south will rise again" bullshite some of our dumbass students tried to start. It was so bad the school had to kill one of our oldest traditions to stop it and the KKK showed up to support it.
