Charlie Weiss =/= Bobby Petrino when it comes to being a college football head coach. Weiss was just another terrific coordinator who bombed as a head coach, happens all the time.

Aggies just watch the Movies, this is how you do it. Now remember you guys beat them 2 games in a ROW with Coach Bellard and they CANCELLED the SERIES in the 70's. Bubba Bean, Big Woo and the boys. Roach was in there too.

I'm not saying you should. I'm just not sure how elite a coach he is given the facts that the best minds busted him in the NFL. Again, the original point was Charlie Weiss is supposedly a football savant, so is Gerald Crowton. The jury is out on that being an effective building. Recruiting monster classes is pretty well proven. Zook is probably the only guy who is too stupid to win with that blueprint.

I'm of the belief coaches are judged on their body of work within one sport. the NFL and NCAA are both football obviously but completely different. I don't think any less of Carroll, Saban, Spurrier as coaches just because they bombed in the NFL. Who's to say Belichick would dominate in college football, I'm not sure that's a guarantee.
